Anyway, I've already told you previously so I'm just going to post it here and leave. If you want more positive threads, make more positive threads. You're doing the same exact thing as when you said you created a necro thread to bring some more positivity. Just skip any alternative methods you may be thinking of creating more positivity, and just create the positivity yourself.

Be the change you want to see.

With all the posts you made lately... Maybe take a break from it all? You sound burnt out of things here Kaiva.

There were like maybe 3 or 4 threads about unsubbing recently. (Which were ironically also kept alive thanks to poster posting bad stuff in them) Most of the time those threads dont exist and only happen when something goes wrong. Is it really that hard to ignore those few threads? Do people really need to create "I still play for x reasons" as an answer to that? Who is worse, the one that takes the advice of SE and post their feedback in the forum so that maybe SE will see it and at least know why they lost another person or those that are completely rude towards that person in their thread and even create threads against that?

And I agree with MomomiMomi. If you want more positive threads why not create them? I mean when I look at some of the threads certain people created they are also not positive or asking why the playerbase seems to be bad. Is something only allowed to be negative if one self is also seeing it as negative?

Let me try to address a few points. I am not really sure where this positivity thing came from - it wasn't me that brought it up or discussed it, at least, I don't recall bringing it up or talking about it; I'm not opposed to it either. But the subject of more positive posts, while it would be nice, was not the idea I was going for.

Could I have worded my original post better? Yes. I am aware of the irony of complaining about complainers (seriously, whomever linked that Xzibit photo, that make me chuckle - thank you for that). It's the combination of the same complaints crossing over into multiple threads and being created multiple times on the exact same thing + the insults and mud-slinging that tends to dominate discussions that I am highlighting.

Personally, my own stance is that I feel that the game needs a new direction. But I leave those particular thoughts in that same thread that I created. I hadn't attacked other posters based on their disagreement of my stance. Contrary to belief, challenging another poster's words is not an attack. It is a debate. I didn't invade other threads that were similar to my own and start telling others how wrong they were for believing such things. I didn't create two or three more threads about the exact same subject, only to say the exact same thing. That's ...not productive. That's not fruitful for anything.

I'm no mindreader (shocking i know) but i think the point OP was trying to make is you don't need to make a new thread everytime someone unsub. SE get their feedback through Mogstation. If you truely HAVE to make a thread about it, keep it civil and mature.

Screaming top of your lungs that a app MADE you unsub isn't productive nor calling it P2W or SE is opting for F2P when it's not.

As before someone insults me by calling me a white knight to SE, I want to be clear about there is a lot i dislike about SE and what they are doing to a game i hold very dear and i am very vocal in my opinions on the things they do wrong. May sometimes be unpopular opinions but I don't think everything they do are great and good.

If anything is making the forum unpleasant, it's the very vocal portion of the community that seek to justify everything that the developers do, shouting down even those who post constructive criticism. It's the reason why I no longer bother with Reddit.

If you don't like a thread, nobody forces you to post in it. It's also pretty obvious from the title what a particular thread is going to be about. It's your responsibility to find the threads you like and post in them. Yet let's be honest - it's pretty clear that many of those concerned about 'negativity' enjoy the drama in many cases. They wouldn't be posting stuff like 'can i hav ur stuf' if they were truly so committed to a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere.

Man this thread is the kind of quality content I like to see, we’re arguing over the forum about the forum. All seriousness still a good thread.
