You just count the total amount of tethers that appear on her even=heavy odd=light then u basically run to the side without blue gg ez

Count tethers, one side has 4, the other has 2, that's even, run to the side with more tethers all the way to the border.
One side as 3, other side has 2, that's odd, run to the side with most tethers and stop at the nipple.
One side has 3, other side has 4, that's odd, run to the side with most tethers and stop at the nipple.
One side has 1, other side has 1, that's even, take half a second to look at one of the scales, if there's no blue run there all the way to the border, if there's blue run to the other side all the way to the border.
Counting + most tethers should get you covered most of the time, you only have to look if there's an equal number of tethers and you only have to look at one direction.
Don't want to do simple math? There's an even easier method to tell.
Is there 1 more tether on one side than the other? always odd (1+2, 2+3, 3+4)
One side has two more tethers than the other, or the same amount? Always even (1+1, 2+2, 3+3, 2+4)
Can't edit my original post, but the only time you have to look out for blue is when both sides have the same amount of tethers. You actually get a decent amount of time to check and figure out tbh ^^
Only applicable if one side actually has more tethers, which isn't a given. If both sides have the same amount of tethers, it's necessarily an even number and thus heavy tilt and you have to watch the scales on the side. You only need to watch one side: If you see blue there, you run away from it. If you don't, you run towards it. If you try to check both sides before running, you'll likely be too slow.
Do feel free to take your eyes off the boss for that, there shouldn't be other important mechanics going on at the time.
Just goto the opposite side of the weighing skill with blue. you will sure never go wrong here. Sophia isn't hard by now because the mechanics has already been broken down. For tilt it's simple - like i've mentioned earlier, Even= Heavy, Odd= light. Go to the side that has no blues. That's it, it is that simple. During the tether part nothing dangerous will happen so you have ample time to count the tethers, rotate to screen to see which side has blue lines, and move to the respective side. But just becareful on the first tilt if dps is decent he'll thunder 2 right after the first tilt in the entire encounter.
As for tank busters.. He will use it once before the ADDS phase if dps is not enough (1:00), another at Phase 3 somewhere around 1:24, another at 1:56. Another right before quazar, the rest are all in P5 & 6. If you run enough you'll know by instinct when the TB will come and when to stack. Sophia ex isn't too hard don't worry, even a party with 6k Overall dps can clear before enrage.
I run mine using the RF, with japanese players who I can neither understand nor communicate with. So practice up, get familiar and you'll have no issue.
