Yeah I mean, like I said before its not going to make you magically win the fight but it will make it easier. I think we've gotten down to 15%? now... still just having trouble surviving hellfire in an organized fashion.

First thing on my agenda is getting double slotted Attack materia on my weapon and gloves. Im using a 2x materia STR/ATK gloves that someone is loaning me right now.

They honestly need to fix server delays on void zones for encounters like this though, like 10 feet out and still getting hit is so stupid. I can see how its tuned for 1 materia gear (though honestly I think someone -might- be able to beat it in full 1.18 gear still, in any case I don't think its impossible) but yeah -.-;; they really really need to fix animation delay and server delay if they are going to continue making encounters similar to ifrit.

102 damage, 4.3 delay, 20 attack power, 15 fire resistance, additional fire damage.

Btw it seems im hitting top end doomspikes for 900 now with the +1 guisarme over the NQ. (Highest 906).

This is about 40-45 damage difference, or 8 damage per 1 DMG on weapon. Ifrit spear is 154? I don't think that will get beat out by a materia lance, don't think its possible at that rate.

Working on breaking 1k Victimize II. Almost there, just need some more crit+ in my body.

I love calling into work saying I'll be late by 15min, only to wipe to Ifrit @ <10% for the attempt that was supposed to be win lol...off to work I guess

EDIT: I'm really impressed with Pugilist damage, can easily keep up with Lancer damage, usually in the middle or a little behind in over all, but still very potent.

Constantly parsing #2 on PUG. One LNC buddy I just can't beat yet, but staying very close. He'll get what's coming to him though XD

Of course, PGL has other shortcomings though. Sear is a total bitch..

By all rights LNC has the highest theoretical damage ceiling simply due to the fact that you can Doomspike II potentially every 10 seconds, but you can Victimize/Maim only every 60 seconds (not counting Keen Flurries, which would bring it down to 1/30s).
