Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

I my opinion, it's a waste of development time if it can all be skipped. Progression, as stated by many others is what makes an MMO an MMO. I can understand that there are multiple classes to level up, but you shouldn't be able to rank up this fast. It's just not right.

People can disagree to disagree as they are doing in all these threads, but you can't deny that it's too fast in most cases. You can say that you don't have to power level, but how can you essentially group level if everyone is power leveling? Soon, most people will be r50, with very small amounts of lower ranked people. Don't make any more mid level content if you can rank up this fast. Like I said..

So you are doing assumptions, it's only your opinion. What's different? I have played MMORPGs all my life and I'm in FFXIV since Open Beta. Do you think I don't know what I'm talking about? I'm not a cryer, I'm a player that is worried about a bad situation for the game.

And if everyone speeds to Cap with powerleveling, most people will only come back for the content updates. As what happened with the last 2 updates. People came and did all the stuff for 1.18. Yeah it brought a lot of people, but most didn't stay for long. I somewhat feel the same will happen with powerleveling. I just have a feeling that it's gonna turn out negatively.

So your argument is that even though a logical conclusion can be reached, because it cannot be 100% guaranteed to be factual, we should just wait and see, and if what was the logical conclusion comes to pass, the game is f**ked? Yeah, that's brilliant. Let's go with that genius plan.

No my point is: no matter how much you and your fanboys "like/star" each others comments Yoshi has already stated why he allowed PLing and after the fact adjusted the game to its current state.
