The community here is the same as any other mmo that has a multi server DF system. The anonymity that DF provides gives a liscense to people for general asshat behavior. Other mmo's you can put the person on ignore and never get partied with them again. Not sure if that's the same with FF or not.

Sadly a few players putting the "asshat" on ignore wouldn't make a dent in the "asshat's" queue, since the tools pool people from multiple servers together.

If you think that my comments are flames, you need to rethink your definition of what a "flame" is.

Afaik it isn't, you just dont hear from them. Plus since its multi server the chance of you meeting them is reduced enough that the blacklist is better used for people on the same server.

first month of FFXIV and went Archer > now a 38 Bard. I only have 1 dungeon available right now that is high enough lvl to let me even cast MB

I just want to say those guys in your group were being jerks and I want to thank you for making this thread. i would have been casting MB whenever I saw it down because from what I read I thought it was essential. but sounds like now, because of this thread, and the great responses I should only cast it when I see healers MP hit about 35% or lower.

so those 1-2 players may have sucked but ^ were great and just taught me something before I experienced what you did

Don't let bad apples ruin your fun/game. There will always be a$$holes in every part of life. I find the majority of the community amazing. The few jerks I run across are pathetic. Just ignore them.

Whoa, calm down. I wasn't talking about you or anyone specifically, I just meant in general. Mayhaps I should have grabbed my shield before commenting here...

Just ignore the rude people and play how you like. As long as you're doing good damage who cares what they say.
