Only new race I would likely roll a new character for would be a Bangaaa, loved those guys in XII

i wouldnt mind something original to the game just as SE suggested.

i dont know much about the current lore but what about a race born from the direct aethyrite energy itself. they could have very chrystaline features perhaps.

Well they could add snurbles as a playable race! I'm fairly certain those are new for XIV and are little snuggly balls of awesome.

I originally wanted to be a Viera for this game. That's why I tried to make my character look sort of like a rabbit girl >.<

If female roegadyns look like Merlwyb, I will be very unimpressed. The file I saw, which I no longer have the link to ( ;n; ), she looked very ugly to me. Though I did see a very awesome red vivi-looking gear I wantz now.

For those actually like how she will look in-game, are you guys drinking some good alcohol? Can I haz some? That might help me out a bit.

Personally, I first thought of Pad'jal, Viera, Moogles, and Bangaa. I think all of them would fill a void for us. Pad'jal actually being in the lore, Viera being a more elegant and noble race, Moogles being hopefully even more adorable than lalafells and extremely amusing to watch in combat, and then Bangaa could fill in the reptilian role, for our current lack of scalekin. This being said, I also feel there need to be a male and female gender option for each race we currently have and will in the future.

i read the 1st 6 pages of posts and why would guys want a male miqote, they are small agile and got no muscle to them it to me would look like a midlander wiht fur and a tail.... why not give the guys the Ronso race from FF-X they to me would truely be perfect. make the horn a customize option, scars, and face paint give different fur color and we got us a beastly Ronso i would trade my highlander for this
