From 30K it would mean a 33% reduction AT LEAST.

I do see that point, because of how of the set price of the junk monger which would be the staple.

People will try to undercut, though we will see if that happens, sometimes people rebuy and put them back up for original price.

though you could be right maybe.

don't need a Crystal near Mist if you already did the quest just port to Limsa use the crystal there to port into the mist or just add an Aetheryte to FC housing and port there to your front door.

That seems to be current theorycraft consensus - if you read description for each of the "RGB" foods it darkens / ligthens each primary colour so depending on the "bit resolution" for each colour we should be able to achieve wider range of final colours. Even if you'd be able to go up / down only two steps from the "Middle" for each colour you'll have 5x5x5=125 different colours ...
