Content sellers and Party Finder

i dont need any carries scrub.

So much hate

Some people do not have a large network of friends to get this content done. Pugging these things can really suck, the person buying the runs may be perfectly competent, they just are having bad luck getting 7 other people who have the same level of skill.

I know someone who bought a Titan hard run when it was the current hurdle for people. He attempted it a total of 84 times in the dungeon finder before doing so. He had the fight down to a science, was always the last man standing, never got hit by anything, but there was always one or two people in the party who would rage and destroy the run. He cleared it with a paid group and did not die himself and even did more DPS then the hired mercs.

I guess what I'm saying is, judging someones skill based on them not being able to clear a hard fight is not the entire picture, they may not have the social network to put together a flawless group.

So much dumb in this thread. I've never seen a good player complain about mercs.

After having around 30 groups of people unable to dodge mechanics from Titan EX, I've decided to buy my way through it, and thats it, I need nothing from it, I know how the dungeon operates, but when packed in with groups of people who say they know how to do it, they always seem to die.

And yes, I stay for a while before dropping out, I don't ragequit after the first wipe.

I think buying content is okay, as long as you UNDERSTAND whats going on, and you've TRIED to do the content with others multiple times. Its even more okay if you have nothing that you need from there, say if I bought the an Ifrit EX run and my wrists dropped, I'd take it, but I would not use it until I beat it without being carried.

I'm not a patient person when it comes to the number of attempts, I want to get past content I don't need and move onto the content that I do need, while giving it a shot. If anyone has a problem with that, then they're just being trolly or dense.

Thanks, and yeah, I've been watching videos as I raise the money for Titan EX, but Experience trumps just watching a video. Glad to hear its easy though.

as for the sig, who doesn't find amusement from Bearded Dragons? (Ishgardians maybe)

So, paying for gear to level your crafting, aka, "Paying someone else to carry your lazy ass through said content" is not the same? Pray tell how exactly. You should be crafting the items for the leve yourself, if not, you shouldn't be doing the leve.

Because crafting takes little to no skill to do yourself, paying for a carry means you're not learning the skill necessary to clear the content on your own. Buying crafting leves is nowhere near the same as buying content clears. Apples and oranges.
