You don't need to fail every leve. I have capped faction points by only completing half of my leves per reset.
I honestly don't know how I feel about them upgrading the stats on the existing gear after making it so easy that it's impossible to take any pride whatsoever in having it. Hopefully, even if they do upgrade it, there will be superior dungeon gear that's a little more challenging to obtain.
exactly how hard should an item be to obtain?
It should be in proportion to how useful it is. Every player is already wearing basically the same stuff. so hopefully they release content that is very hard, making the items very hard to obtain, and by making the items worth having, people will work harder to get them and not run out of goals in 2 weeks.
so then the gear we have is inline with how useful it is, the stats are good but not insane, but since it takes longer to level it lasts longer, once cap is raised, it would be something to get on the way up, not the end all god gear. problem is we havent had new content in about 6 months, and havent had the cap raise yet. In the long view i think none of the gear we have now should be insane to obtain, because none of it is super great.
when cap is 55 or 60, most of these gears wont be that special.
