Its like saying: I don't like cheese burgers because they have cheese, so instead of removing the cheese you decide to throw out the entire burger. There is still plenty to like about that burger, that does not include cheese.

I dont want a XI-2 like everyone else. But (in terms of in-game challenges) to simply make a statement that XIV has to be nothing like XI or it runs the risk of being XI-2, is simply retarded.

Well, to be fair at least other games can be mentioned here without the "this isn't <insert game name here>!!" brigade trolling you.

Im tempted to start throwing out the old "GO WAI, PLAY WOW YOU STOOPID NOOBS" arguement from XI.

Cus seriously, some of you need to go play it. Obviously FFXIV and FFXI are not your cup o' tea.

I'm talking to thread as a whole (which, by the way, has rapidly descended into a FFXI vs FFXIV mentality). Well guess what? Both FFXI and FFXIV suck so if you want a face off between the two, it's like a boxing match between vacuum cleaners. Whichever one wins still sucks.
