man i Wish i cba to tear this dumb tank a new one but... undergeared tank in bardam's mettle who thinks they can go into deliverance, use one cd per pull and survive getting torn apart. we die... a lot bc it got to a point where i just couldn't keep up with the hard hitting damage they were taking. then they blame me?? for not healing?? and when i tell them to use cds they say something like "i'm not going to blow all my cds on trash pulls!" i didn't ask them to, but maybe do ur part so u sustain less damage?? granted they were horribly rude, barely used cds while in deliverance and did i mention he was undergeared...? he'll be on my blist until next maintenance.

Just had an interesting Mentor Roulette in Kugane Castle, with a WAR, SAM, and SMN. When we popped in the tank hesitated for the longest after I cast Protect, not sure what they were doing but whatever, before popping on Deliverance and sprinting off, pulling everything with their face. I instantly had alarms ringing in my head when he was constantly big pulling and losing hate to me (AST so healing a squishy tank) and the other DPS, but decided to stick it out until the end.
Along the way the WAR would stance dance to Defiance for bosses, but go right back to Deliverance for big pulls, causing a lot of unnecessary aggro loss and extra healing, making everything take much longer than usual. The SAM was ok in performance, and the SMN was doing very well which resulted in her stealing most of the aggro, and me stopping to keep both the squishy tank and SMN alive, resulting in some close calls but no deaths thank goodness.
What was baffling was there weren't using any level 70 skills, no Inner Release, and frequently spammed Storm's Eye even though it wasn't close to falling off. Considering they only had one class to 70 and a SAM at 66 I figured they might not know just yet how to use their skills, so at the end of the run I decided to give some constructive criticism:

Could I have been more polite? Probably. Should I have been clearer in my first post? Yeah, and I realize it now. Did it warrant their FC friend being insulting? Not at all. They both left before I could finish giving my advice and left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
Discrimination aside, it would have been nice to have actually explained my point but I wanted them to at least see that I wanted to say something and to actually help, rather than fellow player dissolving into petty insults and running out with their friend, ignoring the fact I may have wanted to divulge more.
This is why I sometimes hate being a Mentor, I wanna give advice but it usually ends along the lines of "well you're a big meanie! I play how I want, also [insert insult here]". :( -

Got fractal hard for expert roulette with my bf on WAR. we had a sam and ast. most of it just went fine, which was fine by me since i was exhausted after a hellish week at work, and then the sam popped up in chat with this
