been trying since 2am on the 16th till 2am this morning. gave up > went to bed > got up at a regular time > still having the same issue. Been trying, my hype is dying. >_>

Legit question for everyone defending SE. Will you finally admit that this is unacceptable when it still doesn't work on "launch" day?

We are in the same boat :'(

Its been over 24 hours and my friends still cannot get through. One is nearly lv 65 now, and they have yet to see the first new dungeon :/

SE, please give us some kind of update! Those of us with early access want to see and do new content. Telling us to do something else is telling us to go back and do more of the old stuff, which frankly, I am bored of. Yeah I can do SOME new FATEs, but that's about it. I would like to level along side the story and not be level 70 before I get past this level 60 quests. ><

I finally got through. I kept taking breaks and levelling RDM, but I'd come back for 20-30mins and tap at Raubahn. On the last try I had been trying for 20mins when it finally let me in.

I know that sux for the rest of you still waiting, but I hope it atleast means there's hope to get through. Just keep trying >_<;

That's my current strategy. Do some PvP, maybe a few leves, then before logging off try to get in for 30 minutes or so. After all, whether you spam for 20 minutes or 20 hours your chance of getting into the instance is the same each time.

people need to STOP trying so much that's part of the issue too many requests at once boggs the poor server down your basically DDOSing it to death give it some time try out swimming or using new abilities in a roulette or something

That's a design problem, not a player problem. "Stop clicking, other people, I want to get through!" is not a fix.

I'm trying to be patient, I really am.

The fact that there's still so many people that just want to explore and do any of the new stuff beyond the very beginning but can't due to this bottleneck is asinine.

SE the game designer are absolutly insane. Blizzard had the best mmo laucnh with legion and SE didnt take a single note...

No its not hard. Possible solutions
1) delete msq that has solo instance, move them to side quest (doesnt block MSQ)
2) auto complete solo instance quests, move them to side quest so people can see what happens later
3) implement a queue

Getting in a line did not work and they are fools for thinking it did. You share the instance servers with the rest of the game and the rest of the data center. Some servers have reported thousands getting done all at once. If this was server based the lines would work.

Kotaku reports on 14 but all the do is say how awesome the game is they never report anything wrong.

They can't delete the quest. They said it would cause issues and that's why they refused to do it for 2.X content. If you believe it wasn't a jump potion decision. Not so sure about two. Three is more interesting people say hall of novice has a system in place that ques instance fights. Otherwise they are adding this system on from scratch not something they are going to be able to do for a weekend.

At this point most reasonable thing is literally locking all servers and opening windows for Cold steal. For the next two hours the only instance that will be available is cold steel. Then lock cold steel out for an hour so people stop feeling frustrated.

Hey, if Square isn't going to do anything then I'm gonna keep wishing for people to stop playing/get disconnected so this congestion can die down. The only time NA servers were having rapid succession was yesterday when the server was kicking everybody like crazy. What does that tell you? There's too many people and the solution is to get rid of some temporarily. I have zero faith Square is gonna fix this anytime soon.

They did for a brief time yesterday. But the congestion has cleared up on JP and EU and they work fine now. Some desperate NA players are even transferring over to EU to complete this. I probably would if I didn't have a house. $10 to skip past this bullshit then another $10 to come back. $20 skip potion.
