Better yet just remove the weapon skill cooldown on class changes entirely. If we switch classes our buffs are already stripped. Just leave abilities on cool down and let us use our weapon skills after one gcd cycle.

Some of us have made questionable choices when we first named our Free Company, are there plans to give us the ability to change the name of our Free Company so we can have a more respectable name without having to delete and remake the FC and lose all of our Ranks? It could cost a lot of gil to avoid FCs abusing the system or better yet have it cost FC points.
What plans are there for FFXIV in regard to horizontal progression? The thing that made FFXI so great and gave it so much depth was because of the amount of content that came together to form this incredible horizontal progression system. I understand that FFXIV is more modern and is currently on track to follow a more common vertical progression model, however I am hoping FFXI's amazing horizontal progression is not forgotten. What can you tell us about horizontal progression in the future of FFXIV?
I understand that any changes to classes/jobs other then certain adjustments will mostly likely not be added in 2.? patches, so we will not see a pet being added to the Dragoon class, but would it be possible to get a minion that resembles the Wyvern from FFXI?
I know several things have already been said about what is coming in patch 2.2, such as 1.5x more story quests then in 2.1, etc. but how big can we expect this next patch to be, in terms of 2.1?
Regarding AF2 armor: How can we obtain these? Will they be from a quest (allbeit a difficult quest I hope) or will they be purchasable with a new Tomestone currency?
Gear in FFXIV for the most part has been part of a set. Full Darklight, Full Artifact, etc. Will we eventually see a stand alone piece of gear? Gear like Leaping Boots and Emperor Hairpin from FFXI come to mind.
Can we also have more content like Besieged and Campaign?
Perhaps if players did enough quests and gained enough rep, the city leaders and other important NPCs could fight alongside us- and naturally they would be pretty awesome in their own right.
Also, can we have the ability to set titles upon fc members that are separate from the fc ranks?
Would you be able to make it so our action bar/cross bar and armor sets could be saved server side....I use a laptop when with my GF on dates a desktop at home and on occasion my PS3(Soon to be PS4) to play and having to set it all up every time does get kind of old.
Can we expect information about classes being a base to jobs in the future? Like how Arcanist has two jobs coming out of it, do you intend to give other classes the same behavior?

AF2 already exists, it's the Mythology JSE gear such as Valor gear for Paladins. That's likely AF3, not AF2.
There's not likely to be any horizontal progression, and it only worked in FFXI because of gear swapping which doesn't exist in this game.

about the melee/ranged dd ratio into the group, actually most group will go with 1 brd for the ballads, 2 ranged and 1 melee dd. don't you feel is unfair for the melee to have only one spot in a group of 8 when ranged have 3 spot for them. what is your position about this? and we don't talk of the possibility but the fact that player follows this rules.
The thing is, like Dovah mentioned above, the Myth Gear has never been classified as AF2. If you look at the new Bard Concept art, you can see that SE officially calls the new gear "AF2":

Can you give us an idea on when Summoners can summon the Primals themselves? It just feels silly that they can summon Ifrit, Titan, Garuda, etc in XI, but not XIV.
Will Good King Moggle Mog XII and Ultima Weapon get Extreme Modes as well?

2.a. Why can't I send any mail to my alts? It would really help with inventory management.
3. Why can't I have my vanity pet out when mounted and why is it [Tab] target-able, giving me an extra click in fights.
4. Any plans to remove at least some of the many numerous load screens? The world feels so very small when there're load screens everwhere. Even using the choco-taxi is a load screen.
5. Any plans to give a speed boost to summoned minions? I frequently have to stop my mount so my faerie or carbuncle can catch up or it'll despawn.

Hi, So a couple letters from the producer's ago you guys showed some concept art for the new Artifact2 gear and Binding coil Turn's 6+ gear can we see some of the other concept arts? or actual ingame models?

I've been on this game for awhile and I have reached endgame pretty quickly, and most of us are becoming bored.
1) Will we be seeing classes like samurai, ninja, dark knight, bluemage, and pirate(corsair) making a return to an ff online game?
2) Will there be additional and useful weaponskills for combat jobs/classes?
3) Will there be an actually usage for having the ability to jump in this game for perhaps to jump over gaps in a dungeon and as a way to dodge enemy attacks on the ground
4) Will we have the ability to equip sub weapons for usage in battle?
5) Will there be an implementation of rare materia that could perhaps give the player access to special abilities and or enhance the weapon (ex: equipping a level 4 water materia to a weapon to give the player the "waterstrike")
6) Will there be an implementation of chocobo raising in Final Fantasy 11 and an enhanced implementation of chocobo racing?
I'm sure it's probably already been asked, just to be sure.
Do we have an expected arrival/release date for this patch? I'm assuming the team wants to stick to a 3 month rotation on big patches, which would put 2.2 mid-March, which isn't bad.
Regarding player equipment, have you considered the implementation of a system similar to the Equipment skills and AP from FFIX tied to specific weapon or armor types for deeper character progression?
Could we possibly see Red Mage as a future Job?
Would it function as a melee spell caster with support skills similar to bard?
And if so, would it be a Job for Thaumaturge or perhaps another new class, such as Fencer?
I did not take the time too look through all the questions. But will you be offering Bottles of Fantasia anytime soon through the Mog Station? It would honestly sell like hot cakes and put more money towards the development of the game. I would like to see this happen! (And before anyone starts to complain like they always do, Bottles of Fantasia in NO way effect the gameplay of the game and do not give an unfair advantage to anyone. )

" Yes, we want to make sure that there is space in the party for at least two people of each role. 4-6 players is a number which has been used frequently in recent MMOs, but I stuck with the figure of eight people since back in the design stage for the aforementioned reasons. You can have two each of healer and tank and four DPS in the present situation.
