I'd call you stupid, but you know.

If Yoshi wants to hear praise than he needs to do better than what he is until than, he gets what he deserves. Yoshi hasnt done anything that stands out and until he dose I wont give him any type of praise. Yoshi has a long way to go before he gets any praise, but unlike some who have left I am willing to give him a small chance unlike the others who will never give XIV another chance. If Yoshi wants praise he has 1 year from 2.0 launch to prove himself, until than he wont get any praise from me.
So doing a complete 180 with an MMO isn't worthy of respect? An MMO actually having another shot is normal? Yoshida has done an impressive amount of work, whether or not you actually agree with the direction he's going with the game. I'm not saying to praise him, but you are constantly saying shit like "YOSHIDA IS RUINING THE GAME." "YOSHIDA DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING." "YOSHIDA IS WHAT WILL KILL FFXIV."
Also learn some goddamn sentence structure.
I hate to agree with Max due to the negative tone of his post, but alas I must. I have seen nothing but pandering to the "15 minute" gamers in the information released to date about ARR. I would not consider myself hardcore, but the vast majority of MMORPGs today lack the risk factor in the leveling process that makes games fun for me and ARR looks to be aiming for 2 second fights that are simply a test of how fast you can press enter. While many people like that kind of challenge it is not why I play any FF, my preference is more strategy based challenge. I am patiently waiting though in hopes that the small amount of information we have so far has been misleading.
On topic, Flame me all you like for this but XI did a lot of things right when it came to giving "casuals' and "hardcore" players something out of the same game. Take dynamis for example was a good blend of something both groups of people could get something out of, armor was a easy grab at 3hrs max twice a week while the hardcore had the weapons to work long term on all out of the same event. I do not want a repeat of the same old same old but I do wish they would take a serious look at the content from XI that appealed to so many people to keep doing it, and figure out why people did it. Then of course bring us something new with those reasons in mind.
