I would have to agree with you on Atomos though, I do not remember Cavernous Maws being linked to Atomos aside from the design. I did all of WotG missions and yes the maws were linked to atomos in FFXI. They used it as a way to take players to another time, reality, dimension whatever you want to call it.

I used the term on accident.

I'm not saying Atomos is a maw. I'm pretty darn sure if they created a different model, people wouldn't associate this Atomos as a reference to Abyssea.

Yes they were. They were portals through time.

I'm glad to see them for those of us who remember Wings of the Goddess it's a familiar way to warp us somewhere safe while Armageddon wipes the slate... :p

Yes they were, but no one remembers that useless content, FFXI = Final Fantasy Abyssea now.

i agree with you what if they included legion in realm reboron where you fough hnm after hnm like lets say ifrit then garuda then moogle the the gc end boss and then then the new hard bosses ect

Wrong about what? I don't think they're wrong about anything at all. Why on earth would anyone be upset that they now have access to new gear to work towards that is superior to their old gear? That's how these games work after all, isn't it?

I think you just get the reward once, if you drop it or lose it, you cannot get it again. I am pretty sure the rewards are different for each difficulty. :)

They mean that only "Rivenroad (hard)" will reward you with something.
The regular one doesn't.

Former means the first thing they mentioned
Latter means the last thing. Just a quick education
