Gamescon official Line-up!

guess well just have to wait till the weekend is over and see what we actually manage to get outta gamescon FF XIV wise, hopefully we can has some cake...

Hmm that's disappointing. But the way I read it was, there won't be any live streaming. Does this also mean there won't be gameplay footage at all? Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

That's exactly how I read it too No live streaming, but its very possible to still see Gameplay Videos ( from SE that is)

I hope we're both right, because I've been waiting for Gamescom purely for the reason of seeing some gameplay footage. I was expecting a 45 minute footage stream, but now I'm happy to just get a 3-4 minute footage.

If we have to settle our expectations to that low, that means SE really must step this up.

I hope were both right too, at the very least there will be like a Gazillion Screens from the Public that will be incoming. It's only the start of Gamescom though and today is only Media Day, tomorrow through Sunday is public, will see If we get 3-4 min of Gameplay I be happy too.

However the flood of information that's been promised to us doesn't come for Video Coverage, but when Questions are being asked Yoshi-P Shouldn't be dodging any of them.

But I still want the GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE!!

Thank goodness Mr. Flan is physical damage resistant... I'm punching my screen so hard now!

The quote specifically says NO VIDEOS OR LIVESTREAMING. Of course it's unclear (as usual) if no videos means no videos of the event or no footage at all.

The quote itself is merely speaking of yoshi presentation, so i would hope he's speaking of that.
I really hope :X but even if no gameplay video now, i'll be happy with just infos. In a disappointed way, but happy

I really don't understand what the big deal is for wanting to see gameplay so bad that it's ruining everybody's week. We've just seen a boatload of very telling screenshots that will tell us so much more than some 3 minute video of some quest being completed. The majority of impact that live gamplay will give us current players is how responsive the interface and battle system is as compared to 1.0. You cannot gauge that responsiveness from a game you are watching and not playing. Therefore, wait until you can get a hand's on, and you will get a much better experience than watching some youtube video.
