In-game marriage, will it make a return?

It better not be so lame and stupid as it was in FFXI (and I ain't talking about how long it took to get married, I'm talking about the stupid content the GMs provided).

So obviously you could answer the obvious question. Is this marriage for everyone or not?!

I'm sure they will see that same sex marriages happen. Their business is to cater to all audiences alike. If majority want this to happen, SE learning the hard lesson of pleasing their customers from past experiences, I don't see why it won't happen. Hopefully with some improvements from FFXI system, which all in all I loved. Will be exciting to have this back in the game, was a great experience from XI!

Would be nice if could have one in each of the three cities, maybe even four with the addition of Ishgard. However I'd still be happy with Gridania. Will be nice to have this back in the game.

That's simply not the case. People are simply having a discussion on a very touchy topic. I don't see any fighting going on about this at all in this forum. It's important for people to voice their opinions as it is for you as well. It's freedom and their right, and I'm all for it. As I posted earlier....

"These would be a nice addition to FFXIV. I remember going to a few of these for friends, and myself being in my own. Lots of fun and memories in these. Personally I think they should go ahead and allow same sex marriage in game, to support everyone's individual requests. After all would be in their best interest to see all their players happy. Honestly, I'd rather completely avoid the 'hot button' drama associated with such a thing. Besides, homosexuality is a lot more touchy of a subject in Japan than in the western world so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Yay! Good to hear about the cathedral! and Gridania is so pretty! I'm anxious to see outfits now XD
