Why is everyone anxious about a PLD Rework?

Goring Blade and Blade of Valor are still there, they just don't have the DoT anymore.

My mistake, I'll clarify.

So what does Goring Blade do now that it no longer applies a DoT? Apply a 10% Fight or Flight?

I'm guessing Bulwark will be 100% block chance for 10 seconds or something on a 1 min CD since Holy Sheltron now just reduces damage taken.

Well. I guess it could've been worse.

I'm glad they're actually addressing stuff outside rotation, but yeah not a fan of removing dots from PLD, plds generally always been a "dot" tank...

I'm happy thr DoTs are gone. They are just boring. Problem is when it doesn't get replaced with something interesting. Looking at you, SMN (old SMN was still terrible, though).

Another job losing DoTs for no good reason. Can't wait for the DRG rework where Chaos Thrust also loses it's DoT component for no reason in 7.0. Can't dare have anything that isn't upfront damage or doesn't conform to the 2 minute meta.

I assume Bulwark will just be a camouflage clone just block instead of parry which is fine PLD really needed that extra fluff CD and will Holy sheltron buff it'll be very nice.
Veil is probably more inline with other tank raid wide CD and healing requirement removed
