I doubt it's character corruption but it has to be something on SE's end. Not a huge amount of people are having this precise error. Rare cases are bound to happen. And rerouting methods don't work for us. I just sincerely think it's an issue from the server merge. The fact I can't log in from 3 locations or through proxies makes it far too complicated that it would be a routing issue.

Yeah, idk whats up with SE beign so slow if your payign for a char and cant log in thats sad. SE shouldnt charge you for days you couldnt get on.

did you try a different DNS? i don't think that will really help at this point, but it's worth a shot still. I know some people are having disconnect issues. I was talking to someone online yesterday and they were changing gateways every half hour to an hour. this caused him to disconnect frequently. for whatever reason this may be happening every time you try to login with a specific character.

did you also try switching from IPv6 to IPv4 or vice-versa?

I switched to the google dns server, no change.
It appears my Uverse gateway and Linksys WRT310Nv2 don't allow me to do IPv6, unless I'm missing something both seem to not support it yet.

I don't think there is anything that can be done on my end, this is a SE issue. I made an alt just for testing purposes and it can stay logged in non-stop.

interesting.

Let's try a couple more things

1)Please try resetting your router to factory default then. something may be weird in your nvram since it looks like you have an older router.

2) you may also check to see if there is a firmware update to help you support IPv6. I'm still noobish in this area, so i'm not sure if a firmware update will allow you to enable IPv6 or if you will require an entirely new router to try it out.

I don't think the lack of IPv6 is the problem but it may be. especially if you're not translating correctly. IPv6 launch was back in June. so this is a fairly recent global change that people may not be accounting for. did your friend have IPv6 enabled on his router when you tried to login on his PC? how about when you tried to connect to the mobile hotspot?

do you have IPv6 on your router? your problem has been going on considerably longer. so I'm skeptical this will be the problem. but again. always worth a shot!

I updated my firmware after June 6th, so It should be there. The problem started before IPv6 went live though. Pretty sure IPv6 isn't the issue. My present router in Kentucky was bought in March. In Michigan, I tend to hardwire into the system when I play.

hmmm. ok. and you turned it on I assume? have you tried turning IPv4 off and forcing it through IPv6?

wired in/wireless shoudln't make that big a difference unless it's purely a packet loss issue. adn that does not seem to be the case.

Hello. Just got this error tonight while doing the Summer event. Ran my first Character thru no problem, started Second Character got about 2/3 of the way done and just continually crash.

Any fix for this yet? Should I reinstall the game?
