Seems like no one cares about the lag

Getting the same thing with the random freezes. Everything else on the network works fine. I've run tracert and it comes back that a lot of the pings get no responses, so looks like packet loss somewhere along the line. Get disconnected when running dungeons or trials, cannot complete a full rotation without getting lag. Other players stop and freeze before teleporting forward. This has been happening to me for about 3 days now and gets worse as the evening progresses.

Been dealing with lagging issues all month. Like it'll get to the point where everything constantly freezes and on the Sending-Receiving part of the the wifi icon on the UI says I go from like Receiving to 5000+ to 0 in seconds and constantly fluctuates. Been irate about it and can't play the game as much as I want.

we care it just we dont know if "their'' care about it....

Idk if my problem is the same as everyone else but I keep having this issue where the game will just lag out for 10-15 seconds some times 30 seconds and I can still punch in commands but the sound of my game will go out then suddenly the sound will come back and all of the animations of my weapon skills and everyone elses around me will go off all at once like a nuke going off. It's been making me not want to play this also happens when i'm doing nothing and honestly I wish i knew what the problem is because it only seems to happen with FF and no other game I play. I should also add in. This issue started for me when Endwalker Dropped. Pretty much seems like the common place when a lot of people started having problems.

I am having the exact same issue. The audio will cut for a couple seconds, my character FREEZES then suddenly the audio comes back and I can move and put input in the game again and the sounds all go off at once. This started about 2 weeks ago and it is annoying.

This rules out it's not just a me issue. I'm sorry its happening to you. My ISP is Spectrum what about you? SE seems to blame everyone's ISP rather than trying to fix their issues and I've tried using a VPN but it hasn't helped.

I've always had lag, moving out of aoe and still getting hit up to 5-10 seconds after I moved, that sort of thing. My ISP is Spectrum, and this is the only game I have this sort of problem.

Well my lag issue happened yet again today. In a dungeon I got murdered in Ex roulette by peacekeeper with the run in a circle death AoE mechanic i couldn't even find safe zones I was lagging so bad. I apologized for my multiple deaths and My Sage in the roulette in a not so nice way said I had "brain damage" and told me to uninstall the game because I'm so bad at it and everyone who is terrible at the game blames their failures on lag. Bruh I can't keep playing the game like this Squeenix please just do something about this lag.

I never had ANY lag issues before, but since last week patch day it suddenly started at 9pm. The game becomes unplayable for me. Crazy rubberbanding and game stopping alltogether. The next day it was as well, then it was alright again for the next days but just now it started again 9pm on the dot. Can't play at all... wish there would be any help for this...Otherwise I'll have to look into getting a vpn or something? I got no idea about that stuff so I wonder if that would help. It's only ff14 that lags for me. Everything else is just fine.

last week it was like the problem was miraculously fixed- no lag at all! but then yesterday & today its back worse than ever. it almost never actually disconnects me just freezes for 30 secs (I can still press buttons and move but nothing else happens) and then everything around me shoots forwards and all the attack sounds happen at once like was said earlier ^

I've tried two different vpns and running it off my phone hotspot but its the same no matter what :( I use starlink and have no problems with other games/streaming vids/video calls, only ever xiv

its even annoying doing simple things in game at this point: with the market board sometimes theres a delay of like, ten seconds from when I click on it to when it opens. same with teleporting
