Am I the one telling you that you shouldn't be able to transfer away from your current community.

If you can "enhance your experience" with any community why are you opposed to letting those of us who already have our experience enhanced continue to play with our community.

Character creation date takes priority. So nothing going here. I vastly prefer being able to keep a name I've had since launch to giving it up to someone who wanted my name for a mule. /shrug

Luckily, I'm named after a whiny 14-year-old, so I didn't have too much to worry about either way.

I dont understand why they dont merge 2-3 servers together so that everyone in each of them is not losing these so called 'community friends'. They did it in ffxi, so why cant they do it with this? You would think it would be easier since there are less people playing.

On a side note I think ....realistically people who think they are a somebody in a computer game need to get their head out their ass. Get on with life and stop complaining about a server merge on a game you complain about having hardly any players. You are acting like SE are evicting you from your house and these 'close friends' give a monkeys about you lol

Never said I was opposed to it. You seem to assume this because I don't agree with you.

It's a game, and this is a forum for a game discussing a topic that drastically effects the experience of everyone playing that game.

If I don't like it I'll quit, and it won't ruin my life but it will be the end of me playing this game that I enjoy.

I'm a somebody on my server, and that person I invited to my EXP group last week they were somebody too. People, even on the internet are still people. There is apparently just a higher population of people acting like sociopaths, lacking the ability to empathize with others.

See and this is the problem, I want to end up on a server with other people who treat people like they are actual human beings behind their characters and not just one populated by anti-social nerds taking out their rage in virtual form (as is unfortunately the case in many MMO communities). I found that here on Selbina, and looking around on this forum at people from Gysahl/Rabanstre/Saronia/Wutai/Besaid/etc. it appears I was pretty luck to land on Selbina.


btw I'm not the only one who thinks that. A lot of us on Selbina really enjoy our server, I guess you wouldn't understand not having a character here just how much of a difference it makes.
