They mentioned the point to its removal was that they couldn't get the stats saveed to class feature in the update in time. They got the feature that lets us save spells/abilities set up per class in, but not the statistical counterpart.

I wasnt being offensive, but well theres no point on telling you about the stats, when i said no more conjurers with 250 vit 5int and 5mnd i meant weaklings that only want high HP and suck as playing their role -.-
You need to play again to understand it by yourself, the classes now feel balanced and have their stats where they needed in order to play their role, gladiators are not longer gimped in hp and def, have good magic stats so they can cure properly, in a few words classes are functioning as intended.
Having a merit point system is almost the same as what we had in FFXIV at the beginning, but the difference is that you dont gimp stats in order to have better stats in what you want but you have the freedom to especialize in some role, if you read a post that i made after you can see my example...
They said that they are implementing the stat allotment but they needed to put some base stats first to be able to check classes and fix them in 1.20 according to the feedback, so its not my opinnion as you said, read the letters i think in one of the last two letters was or in one interview.

Nice, another stat nazi. If you don't like the way someone plays there role, don't play with them. Instead of doing that though, you want to cry to us that we should all be set up your way. Not to mention, you show a massive amount of ignorance here. Do you even have a clue what adding int or mind did for a mage? NO.
This is as bad as yous saying "I despise the color green so no one should be allowed to have money".
Beacause your making example you know nothing about. 20 CON and 36 THM displays that. DO you even know what INT did for mages? It literally only modified the your 3 weakest abilities. INT was 100% broken. So to sit here and claim people with 5 int had bad builds that made your life harder in game. that just goes to show you have no clue what you are talking about. If you have an opinion thats great, but don't lie or talk out your backside about situations that don't exist, and pretend facts you made up.
Balanced? LMAO....seriously? ....Maybe you need to play. there is no balance. MRD can out aggro the thanks by miles and match top DD classes. Archers damages was "overbalanced" and is well below par. LNC are OP by miles. GLD enmity is totally broken.
If I mail you some cash, wil you do us a favor and go out and buy yourself a clue?
Yep, it will be possible to manually distribute attribute points in 1.20. It'll be possible to allocate attribute points manually once you're above a certain level, but since there were balance adjustments made in 1.19, you will not be able to allocate as many points as in the past.
Oh hey you mean I don't have to have 100+ piety on Lancer for no apparent reason at all and can actually have some HP befitting a Roegadyn again?
I heard somewhere that higher Piety boosts how much HP you drain with uh... Speed Surge? Life Surge? (I havent played Lancer in a while ><) If it boosts extra effects on attacks you might want to keep some of it, although I'm guessing there's a point to lancer having higher piety in the class revamps, since theres some other odd gear/materia choices for some classes (like PGL getting access to elemental potency on its weapons).
Are stat allocations class specific, and preserved like our action bars are now? Or will I have to re-allocate my stats every time I change class?
If I have to re-allocate stats every time I switch classes, then please, don't re-introduce this until the stat allocation is saved with each class like the action bars.
