I like the specialist system as it stands. If everyone could do everything, nothing would have value. True, you may pay through the nose for items you can't personally synth, but that needs to be part of your overall business strategy. Prior to the specialist system, there were often just 2-4 crafters on a server that owned ALL of the highest lvl profitable synths. I know this from making about 7 mil per week in profits on 4-star synths, over a period of 4 or 5 months. This is a much better system for everyone--it's not a content restriction, it just means that YOUR server's economy is protected from ppl who can play 20 hours per day sitting in their parents' basement.
