Hm. I have those 2 listed in my achievements from about 13 hours ago, but still no mouse avatar.

I guess there is something else to it?

Anyway...its a pretty good earring for its rank...and having slot cost 1 makes it VERY useful.

How exactly in any circumstance from now until the end of time itself would that earring ever be VERY useful? I've always been the type of person that enjoyed world events and such, but this is just foolishness.

I'm not so much upset about the event being epic fail as much as I am with realizing SE just can't roll with the big boys anymore.

Achievements needs a while sometimes. Was waiting 2 Days for my Swimsuit Achievements. X_x

You know what... since you can only wear one earring it gives me an idea.

I did equip it, and I did talk to the NPC -- both done last night.
Oh well. I guess I'll just wait and see.

I have the earring equipped too. Let's recap:

Killed Moon Eared Mouse ---> got moonlet earring
Killed Moon Eyed Mouse ---> got dalamud nuts
Killed some other Moon Mouse --> got moon nut

Decided to equip moonlet earring for giggles and went to do other stuff. Checked Lodestone some time later to find one achievement : Valiantly killed a moon mouse. And noticed I have a blue avatar with mice on it.

Yea, I gotta be completely Honest, the rewards for these event are starting to get on my nerves.. I understand they are never going to be the best gear in the game, but come on at least make them do something. Anything really, ANYTHING.

I miss the mog house furnishings we get in FFXI...:/
