Not same than FFXI, similar IMPROVED version yes please :) I want to look for group on my pugilist while I level up my gold smithing.... Or solo grind on my conjurer. If it's JUST LIKE FFXI then you can't do that. . . .
signed it is some thing the game needs bad
Hopefully my vote is made all the more poignant by the fact that, after many years of silent observation from amongst the shadows, I have emerged in order to add my voice to this cry.
Although I admit I am not quite willing to shed baby blood over the matter, I will agree with...well every post above (and most likely below) mine in that this particular function/system/feature is one that really, really, reallyprettypleasewitharolanberryontop should be in the game. The party flag, when combined with the wickedy-sick way in which the /sea (search function) from FFXI was colour-coded so that you could tell at a glance who was seeking, in a party, and even who the party leaders were (yellow, if I remember correctly) really helped to facilitate the party-orientated content in the game.
Signed, BUT, since I am a greedy Scrat, I give it on the condition that when these features are implemented - however they turn out and wherever they gather their inspiration from - I want them to be polished, effective, and (most importantly) I want them to improve on their predecessors. That is progress, and I demand it! ^.^

Definitely something that's required to be added to this game. I'm for it.
that would be nice even if a more deep mechanics is needed than the ffxi lfp flag system

AND
IMPROVED BETTER THAN FFXI SYSTEM
I would like if some of you guys would go over to this thread
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ystem-is-great
and give some opinions and read to see what others there think. It is a little more contructive (instead of /signed signed signes sign...... etc) and you can be more specific about what you want :)

Signed! This is a real must have in order to build parties easily and fast...
signed. really the system in FFXI worked. just build on that instead of trying to reinvent the wheel
