...what kind of airship is one that does not fly above the land?

Hopefully next week, also from what you posted on the one to fifty thread, hope they just don't do something like get on the airship. BAM! you're in the other country... I like how FFXI worked but if they do bit more to it would make it more interesting, make it more lively. Have different types of airships depending on country...

So anyways him bringing up the airship info in this post he made + the interview about name we all know from FF Series... again... Cid??? lol saw responses in here about Bahamut also, that would be interesting also :D

He think he's saying they're not the type similar to the older FFs, more like X and XII's airships where you see the map and not actually fly over the map.

Well there have been times that Cid and Bahamut were part of the same story. Even in XI. If we got both of them in the same patch, that would be intense. As for me, I'm hoping Cid is the leader of Ishgard or something. Would be pretty cool!

And yeah, I'm thinking it might come next week. And if not, it should be the week after. I'm also surprised to see Yoshi posting stuff on a Saturday. It means he's at the office, which COULD mean they have people there over the weekend to finish up some things. Just speculation of course, but it's not unheard of to keep your employees around for the weekend to make sure work gets it's final touches.

Like Reinheart, I hope it's not just a "zone and boom" kind of thing. Airships in XI, even after 6 years, felt great to take off in. I loved standing around for a couple minutes to enjoy the scenery and mess around with friends while we waited. Just like on the boats too.
