I have farmed A12S on BLM with over 300ms ping, an achievement I notice your previous sub-100ms self has not uploaded to fflogs. While I can certainly agree that higher ping makes it impossible to play BLM 100% optimized, you don't actually need to be perfect at your job to clear any of the content in this game - you just need to be good enough.

Your ping went up and you can't play perfectly, I get it, but your own published records show you never played perfectly anyway. So if you'll allow me to be rude? Perhaps if you spent more time studying to perfect your job instead of lamenting on the internet then you'd have some A12S kills on fflogs by now.

*sigh* see this is why the English foums have well over 40K threads and the other 3 language forums have only 6-7K threads combined over 4 years because we keep making the same topic over and over lol /faceplam (yes I realize this is off topic, but it had to be said lol)

This could be nice, so long as it only affects responsiveness. (i am of the feels fine to me camp just for clarity) One of the aspects of legion for wow i did not enjoy was that now it feels like an arpg, and i would not want that degree of "speed" in ff 14. Still if they can tweak their code for responsiveness without altering the "pace", that could be nice. (I used to have issues with spells not activating but that also had alot to do with my packet loss being high when server were in Canada, haven't been playing much since relocation so atm most i can tell you ive experienced is considerable improvement to overall connection stability so no hangs when loading or game stalling when i teleport etc)

I went from 150 ping to 440 and it's... pretty damn noticeable on my end.

So, if this person isn't playing 100% optimally, that somehow justifies making gameplay more difficult by (unnecessarily) adding latency?
That like saying, "Oh, you're not the world's fastest runner? Then you shouldn't mind carrying this sack of bricks."

I seen this happening already.. At least some pc players have tools to help with ping issues. Ps4 users have very limited options. What can you do not like anything is going to be changed anyway. Just gotta deal with it till at the rate stuff gets fixed I assume EC will get a server by 8.0.

I went from 20-30ish to 90-100. I noticed the difference almost right away Bard is more unresponsive my double ogcds are clipping. I can't cancel cast on blm anymore at 55% now I have to get it to 80%. And I used to be able to get out of aoes at the last second. I can no longer cheese aoes.

Raiders always have been kind of petty about stuff.

They were the ones who called someone out on their parse first lol. Saying the high ping made them bad.
