Ah, that comment reminds me of TES III: Morrowind.
Where Khajiit and Argonian had animalistic legs so they couldn't wear boots.
So yeah, they literally lost 1 slot of armor for protection and enchantment.

I'd play Hrothgar again if they
-Implemented a toggle in the aesthetician for slouch or no slouch, this way people could choose like a chiropractor
-Some more actually bestial hairstyles, not the silly ones we were offered
