It was so weird. Tank, myself, and other DPS all died to second boss in the new dungeon. It wasn't the doom. The line AoEs just stood there and all went off at once instead of one after the other. I thought it was lag on my end, but all three of us? Then the healer no less, soloed the last 3% or so, and bosses TB didn't one shot him. Then I just went back to the starting point and the shortcut wasn't there. Then the healer got all pissy with me for not taking it. I probably just missed it? Hell man I don't know. That was effin weird

Queued up as a Healer for Level 50/60/70/80 dungeon and got Grand Cosmos with a sprout PLD running it for the first time. First pull, I waited to see if he would do a double pull. Nope, single pull but it's fine. It was long and I was healing a lot for him coz he takes so much damage. First boss - tank buster got him down to 40% health or so. I was like wtf? So I watched him and the skills he was using and turns out he was only using Requiescat. Not even a single mitigation coming from him. I looked up his search info to see what language he uses and it's English so I told him to use his mitigations to lessen the damage and that he has other skills aside from Requiescat. I thought I wasn't healing enough, turns out he wasn't using mitigations. After saying this, he used Sheltron, Sentinel at least but no Arms Length, Reprisal, Rampart, Hallowed Ground. On the door to the final boss I just /facepalmed and the other DPS consoled me and also offered some tips to the PLD but we got no reply whatsoever. I had to Rescue him to the chandelier when he was burning too since he wasn't moving to it even if we had it numbered for him. It's the first time I queued for that roulette in a week now and I'm traumatized.

Mentor roulette on GNB and got an in-progress Ktisis Hyperboreia. They had just done the first pull, so I went ahead and grabbed the next two packs. I notice damage is pretty slow, but I just shrug it off and go on. We finish off the first boss and pull the next group and I realize this scholar is just spamming physick and the occasional adlo. I'm in no danger of dying, but I'm going through all my cooldowns. I ask her what's up with the physick spam and she answers "because she wants to."
I wonder why you would want to play that way. I can see wanting to focus on heals over damage, since there are folks that really just want to heal, but why would you never use excog or any of the other cool healing abilities scholar has?
Anyways, I just left the group because ain't nobody got time for that. Ran Sastasha with a nice group of sprouts instead.

Lv90: Smileton, as a DRK.
Party DPS was atrociously low that I just learned today their first boss has a tankbuster called "Heart on Fire" (paraphrase) & last boss has a raidwide named "Violent Discharge". The party was a Medica II Mage, overgeared BLM who loves their #3 enmity constantly, and a decent SMN.

In the The Labyrinth of the Ancients at the Atomos pressure pad part, had someone (DPS) on the button team continually getting off it to go pull ads back to us. We also has one of our members go to the wrong side, so we were lacking the usual numbers. I call them back in chat, I get ignored. The other parties kill theirs and realize ours is still standing due to button member wanting to hang out at the end after they decided to be a button sitter. People are yelling their name in chat to get back on the button, ignored. I rescue their ass back to the button and they run off back to the Atomos. More Alliance chat screaming for them to get on the button. One of the two who were working on killing the Atomos start making their way back to stand on the button when FINALLY the space case gets their ass on the button and stays there.
Holy crap, you have a flag on your name so I'm assuming you've done this dungeon at least once. Either just mad trolling or chugged skip potions. The only other situation I can think of is they were a pre 5.3 character that finished Shadowbringers without finishing the Crystal Tower and were required to run it, but I didn't see the first timer message. Regardless, read your chat!

Seat of Sacrifice on red mage. Tank pops the mandatory LB3 a little early, it snapshots weirdly, leaving only me, a tank, and a healer alive. I go straight into rez mage mode, scraping everyone off the floor while the tank and healer keep the boss busy. Soon enough we're all back up and running.
Then the boss goes into the "two people per spot" meteor mechanic......and nobody stacks with me, and I get squished.
And then I get left on the floor for two-thirds of the rest of the fight. With some wits cracking jokes about it.
Class, guys.

To the tune of "The Rainbow Connection", as sung by Kermit the Frog:
Why are there so many
Posts about raid wipes
And how a mechanic's B.S.?
Raid wipes will happen
(Especially while progging)
And PF is often a mess...
So we've been told, though some choose to forget it,
And then make a post full of rage...
But I know we'll prog it, the next real mechanic,
And someday we'll see the next stage!
Who thought this savage strat,
Resolves the mechanic,
When run with a group in PF?
Somebody thought of that,
This DC believed it,
Now look at this field full of death...
Why are we dying, are they even trying?
That tank's gonna quit in a rage...
But I know we'll prog it, the next real mechanic,
And someday we'll see the next stage!
All of us parsing so well,
We know that it's probably magic...

I laugh a lot of this one, the rest of party probably hated me:
I was doing some lvl 70 duty as a gun breaker. Im a main tank so I can know how to play my role good (no awesome, but good), but I was just leveling my gun breaker job so I wasn't really good at doing mitigations. So, I asked my brother (a main gun breaker raider) which is the "tank buster" mitigation? He wasn't sure but he told me he wasn't sure but it was one of the last ones.
I truly believed him and start using the weakest mitigation on bosses. Of course I got my health bar low with those attacks and I was like "NO! im lagging too much!! the mitigation is not working!!" While the healer had to put all his skills to use.
Nobody told me anything and the duty ended without a wipe (kudos to the healer). After that I read the skills to be sure about the mitigations and discover my mistake. I laugh a lot and told my brother, we both laughed
Im sorry healer, such devastation... it was not my intention

Went into a Storm's Crown EX farm party. Cleared it once with this group. I've seen enough mistakes on that party to realize they're definitely not a farm party. Hell, someone even got a clear out of that, so it was a clear for 1. Absolutely lied to. I realize the group was probably doing a reclear or clear for 1 rather than a farm party, so I rather they advertised it properly. My oGCDs were all across the board afterwards for trying to adjust to all those mistakes. Anywho, I stuck around since I figured they know how to clear it now. The following pulls however ...
DNC gets me killed by getting knocked up by a tornado so they couldn't stack with me (as a healer).
Later, DNC gets me and themselves killed by not spreading on second AoE after stacking. They later complains about not getting heals after we wipe.
Gee, I wonder why you weren't getting heals. Maybe it's not because I'm dead, got 2 stat debuffs, and now lost all my MP twice to you...
Someone replied by saying "best bet is don't go down then" -- aka calling them out for killing me. :P
Anywho, after they said that, someone directly quit the party. After seeing people leaving and making excuses, I left because at that point, it was apparent people did not know the fight in this group to farm it.
While looking through other parties, I saw the DNC put "No Hrothgars" on PF afterwards with 1 other person and I realize they still didn't realize their mistakes. Instead, they decided to be racist? Welp, that's a blacklist from me.
