Trying to get chat service and get "Chat service is currently unavailable." I can't call as I am active duty currently serving overseas. This is really starting to become a headache.

Is there a reason that this thread has gotten to 143 pages without any kind of response from SE? Not here, not on Twitter, not on Facebook, not on the Lodestone... I'm not even experiencing the issue myself, my best friend is - he's so angry he's likely not going to play the game any more, and frankly, I'm getting just as angry FOR him.
None of you should have to be dealing with this without so much as a "Yes we know this is an issue" and it's even worse that some of you are having to pay long distance to try and get any confirmation from SE.
Not sure, but depending on whether I can get this resolved or a response from SE in the next few days, I may be requesting my money back and passing on this game. It's fun sure, but I am not prepared to restart at this point. That is not fun.
I cannot find a chat support option on their site when I try to contact them. The link posted earlier in the thread (for NA) is for PlayOnline/XI. The difficulty in navigating their sites is ludicrous.
You would think that we would get a response from SE by now... Whether by email or anything really. If so many people are having this issue, why not offer 24 hour support, or at least a way for us to actually get this resolved without having to go through this pain of looking for support numbers, and chats (which are no where to be found on the FF14 Page, or if it is then I am BLIND), getting dropped from chats without help, closed tickets, busy signals on phone calls, HOURS of wait time with nothing to show for it... This is getting out of hand!
This is definitely ruining, for me, an amazing game experience.
