The game keeps sending me into Wanderer's Palace this week. Two very different experiences:
The bad: another possibly-new tank that started by engaging the 'set piece' tonberries at the start, and followed up by repeatedly engaging groups of enemies in the Endless Rise right on top of an attacking stalker. I can only hope that the tank didn't realise they're unkillable. Terrible for my own personal paranoia of the place anyway.
The good: I decided to practice my own tanking, went in the roulette, and got the Palace again. Said hello, started out well, all fine (but silent) up until the bavarois boss... at which point our server had disconnection issues and we all got kicked out. I was the last one back in, all of us were spread out making our way back through the middle section of the dungeon - and because of that, we talked. And it was so nice to break from that straightforward 'silent gameplay' mode - and also a relief to find each other and regroup as we made our way back past all the stalkers.
(Oddly enough, and the opposite of my usual feelings when tanking, this dungeon seems *less* stressful as a tank...)
