Goals for the marriage union : a partner, friend I can trust (hard to find), mature (harder to find), based on the understanding that we dont need to be glued to each other, we have our stuff to do too (like I craft), build something in-game..and see where it goes in-game that is. I dont need a statue waiting for me or looking over my shoulder while I do something, be it crafting or anything of the sort, nor will I do that either.
Etc... : I am blunt, extremely blunt, some consider it rudeness, it could, if you cannot bare someone that will tell you if you are a jerk, dont bother and if you dont have a thick skin dont bother either, we would not go along at all. I am a non RP. I can RP the eternal bond ceremony if that is what you will prefer but don't ask to behave as your spouse if we are just friends. I respect the RP community. I even enjoyed some of their plots, but do not force me to RP. I will talk/act/play as myself. If you want someone to be your RP partner, I am the wrong person to EB with. If you want just the items, I am the wrong person.. I want a sincere friend. Another thing, I will only EB your main character.

I love the game and love to talk but don't ask me to just sit down and spend all our time just talking at least I haven't logged in for many days/weeks and want to talk to friends.

For the EB, I will only do platinum. Don't asked me if I will EB you in the second day, I will decline. I want to be your friend before I even say let's EB. I need to emphasis that I want a friend not an acquaintance. Many people nowadays call others, their friend(s), but don't talk to them after 2-3 days or want to be always reached and no put a little effort to talk to someone. I might contact you and greet you (if I think you are interesting), but I will stop if I don't see a reciprocate behavior. It's very important that our schedule match otherwise, we will have a hard time playing the game together. That is why I only do contact in game and don't post chatting ids in public forums. If they are really interested in you they will meet you in game on your server to talk with you.

Well the girls I got to talk don't match my schedule and the few guys, were or immature or our timezone was just not compatible. With regard to Balmung and no being a rp. RP is a style of life )at least for the players in this MMO and that's not me so yeah :D)

I haven't been here in ages. I did meet someone via the thread and we EB'd, but due to various circumstances, things didn't work out for us. I don't regret the experience at all, though (they were quite wonderful, to be honest, but our schedules didn't really line up much, and I admittedly wanted a lot more time to spend together than they were able to give).

I'm not particularly looking anymore, but I just wanted to say that for those of you struggling, don't give up on it. It took me a long time and a lot of reposts to find someone that worked out, but I eventually did!

Also, I did (recently) bite the bullet and transfer to Balmung, so if you're there, feel free to say hi!

well he said damn picky and shallow. When we refer shallow about someone we usually tend to refer to how someone pay attention to looks. You might think you consider yourself handsome, but you might not be the definition of handsome for others. remember beauty is the eyes of the beholder. Then again I could be completely wrong and he just want in-game currency lol and if you are not rich he might not want to talk to you (another aspect of shallow person)

Some players also take the eternal bond more seriously because in-game it's basically marriage. Shallow people usually don't call themselves shallow. So no need to panic about the character looks.

When it comes to marriage, even if it's in-game I will end up taking it seriously. I'll have certain character preferences just because it would be my first in-game marriage and I'd like it to be with a good looking guy. If they just want the mount and they match my preference, I'll do the ceremony, if we have a connection, even better. IfI can't find someone that matches then I'll settle for a friend or anyone(Lalas, Roe, Elezen) that would want the mount, no strings attached.

It's true. I do take the Eternal Bond seriously to a certain extent. I'll wait as long as it takes to find my match and if I can't after a period, I'll settle for a friend that would want it, if no one wants it, then I'll go for some random person. I think I am shallow though since I'm being picky about how someone's character looks and personally...I really don't find Lalas, Roes, or Elezens...that attractive. I apologize to those players, forgive my petty preference.

You can edit your post to cheat the character limit.

For an unknown reason the forum admins have not increased the limit, which is kinda silly because every second post is answering this question and as such wasting space.

100% Agreee with you on the lala and elezens, lala is a lala and elezens make me want to throw up( Except a few certain npcs), though the Roes do have nice physical appearence in my opinion, just not for me( The skin color just pushes me away, i require at least a hardcore beach surfer Californian tan level)
