im not sure i like the tune... it has a fast tempo compared to the original...

I wish it was louder. It is very quiet compared to the music of other mounts and when combined with the magitek footsteps, that just makes it even harder to enjoy. I can't really justify tweaking my settings for one low-volume mount tune when my current settings are perfect for everything else.

THANK YOU! Only minor quibble is the music is indeed a bit on the soft side. Had to change some music settings to be able to hear and appreciate it better. Can we maybe increase the volume of the tune?

As i said to my FC

Thank you dev team! It feels really epic striding around in the armor now.

(The only issue I've had is the music is much quieter than the other mount music. It's really only a minor thing but if it could be made louder it'd be absolutely perfect!)

I don't mind the volume compared to other songs, but I always have everything but the music at 70% volume. Why wouldn't you though? The sound effects aren't that interesting.

What's important is that the volume of the three (I think that's the total at this point) mount music pieces are all at the same volume level. If one is much lower than the other two (which is the case of the new Magitek music) then an adjustment is warranted.

I actually keep my music volume lower than all my other settings because the music from FATES and general combat are otherwise deafening. Still, I can hear the chocobo and generic mount themes very well. The Magitek is a lot quieter, and that's a bad combination when paired with the mechanical footfalls. Even standing still it is still quieter than the other two mount themes (when standing still as well).

Now I can park my character in the Mist with this mount up. I was getting really tired of the music there. This is fresh, this is good. This is excellent. Thank you, SE. You've made a lot of Hildibrands and Nashus happy with this.

I had glazed over that part in the patch notes today (it was near the bottom) so when i got into my gilded armor today and hear a tune different than before and turned it up, I was excited. I asked in Mor Dhona shout when they changed it and got a bevy of "read the patch notes moron" kind of replies. Needless to say, the ff6 memories started to flood in :D

As it's my favorite theme from my (formerly first, but now) second favorite FF game, I was moved to hear that this was added, and even MORE moved to actually hear it for myself.

I just want to add my voice to the chorus of "thank you" in this thread. :)

The timing could not have been better, too. Given the melancholy and foreboding turns that the story has taken in 2.55, this music has been the perfect accompaniment to it. If it weren't already the theme from Final Fantasy VI, it would certainly make an apt theme for this buildup to Heavensward.

And really, who's to say it isn't precisely that, no matter where we've heard it before?
