Some suggestions, mostly quality of life, obvious things

About market and breaking stacks to single items. While the feature is very useful, it should be made an option set by seller. Some sellers may wish to offer a low price if you want to buy the whole stack. And some may serve as a provider to many giving them ability to buy a single item. This system however has a drawback making resource gathering too effective (as there is no excess resources lost) and the prices will drop severely. I would actually prefer not to implement one as it will hit the economy in a bad manner and it will severely increase the number of lots on the market (server load issue).

Give us a tackle box for all of our fishing lures.

As it stands. If I wanted to fish "on a whim" while waiting for a party or friends, I would need to carry all of my fishing lures because I'll never know where I might be "standing around" and possibly not have the lure I need if I don't carry them all. I have almost 50 lures on me at the moment.. That's almost half of my inventory!!!! :) Thanks!!

I noticed there are lack of quests/or experience rewards are too low for some higher lvl quests. Hit 42 other night and finished every available quest i could find and barely recieved 25% of a level. Add more sub-quests for levels 40+ to fill the void IMO.

Go get your FATE on like everyone else. They already said there were only going to be limited amounts of quests. Your suppose to balance it out between dungeons, fates, leve's, guildhests and quests. Not ALL quests.

Fate farming is extremely boring to someone (like me). Need other ways to level up.


- Fishing: Add the lures used to catch each fish in the tooltip on the fish guide.

Could devs change summon icons for SMN ? When SMN obtains titan and garuda, carbuncle skill icons should change as well imo.

Add to sound: The ability to choose which system device to use for sound in game. For example, I may want my pc to use my speakers, but the game to use my headphones. The way the client works currently, if I use my headphones as my default system for sound, then unplug my headphones or change the system configuration in any way, I lose the game sound, even when I re-plug the headphones back in. I have to log out and reload the game for the new configuration to work.

I would like a way to tell which equipment is part of a gear set. I want to open my AC and know which items I have no use for. Maybe you could use a different color of X.

Since devs are paying attention here, and I dont really see the need to make another thread:

Can we please have it so that boss battle timers or dungeon timers freeze while someone is viewing a cutscene? Either during a primal fight or dungeons in general. It is not fair to players who are viewing a cutscene for the first time, in a game that is very story oriented, to be rushed through the scene by players who are either afraid that the timer will run too low/wont have enough time to finish/are just in a rush themselves.

I understand if you create a speedrun party, but if someone is playing the dungeon or the battle for the very first time, i'm sure they want to enjoy the well crafted cutscene the first time, in the heat of the moment. Not long after the event is over, rewatching in the inn.

Right click on player name in chat that sell gil for RM and report it automatically by selecting for example " Report Gil seller" and automatically add her/him to blacklist.

Now you have to:
1.Press ESC-Click System ( if you are powerplayer ;) )
2. Click Support Desk
3. Click Report Cheating
4. Type Title
5.Type World Name
6. Type Zone
7. Type Date when violation was observed
8. Type Character Name
9. Type Detail
10. Click Finish
11. Click Send

I would also like to see an easy way to report/blacklist people.

I would also like to see PS3 keyboard/mouse users have the same setup as PC Keyboard/mouse users.

1. Raise the amount of GP earned for a successful gather to 10GP.

Right now its close, if not slightly faster to just sit there and wait for it to refill, then to gather a shard or something with a higher gather chance to refill it.

2. Have a separate gather bag for all gatherables, make it big enough to fit a stack of all gatherables + their HQ versions.

1. Remove the forced stop on character movement after pressing the Shift key, by default. Makes it difficult to use Shift related keybinds on the move.

That's all for now, but I'll edit this once I think of some other issues.

Add a way to target other peoples summons easier...either but adding a hp bar in the party(or like a pet party bar? IDK), but really. it's a pain in the ass when your 2dps are summoners sometimes and they whine at you to heal their pet when you can't even target it.

What do you guys think of being able to enter an instance with less than the required amount of people, without being forced to fill up the empty spots with PUG?

I would really love to 2 or 3 man several instances...

Making it auto dismount you when you try to talk to an NPC, or when you try to attack a mob would be preferred. Making it so we can mount out Chocobo while using it as a companion, even if we have to use another Gysahl Green to summon him again after. Making it so that our friend list and linkshell list automatically move online players to top by default.

That's just a few quality of life things I can think of off the top of my head.

This is great. We need to remove all the excuses people have for forcing people to skip cutscenes. People should be confined to small area and nobody should be able to attack anything when somebody is viewing a cutscene in addition to pausing the timer.

Here a few thing I would like to see:

1. A seperate section for gathering/crafting tools in the armoury inventory, it horrible that it is mixed with weapons (there is also a space on the top right where this could go, which would also make the armoury inventory even).

2. Make it so we can join all 3 grand company's with out having to quit one, to join another (this way we do all hunt log, etc). Make it so fate give seals for all companys or we pick company we want fates for.

3. Make it so there is a way for non-legacy players to get the "Legacy Chocobo" & "Goobbue" mount, so that non-legacy players can actually 100% the game, even if this mean we have to pay to get them.

Sorry in advance for repeats (it's a long thread).

1) Pet movement speed decreases quite significantly when you become targeted by an enemy and they're in passive/steady mode. This becomes very noticeable when you're on a mount.

2) This probably belongs in the dungeon thread but I think there should be a way to directly invite someone to a dungeon if players quit or disconnect. I think that will lead to far fewer parties just straight up quitting a dungeon when one or more members leave.

3) An in-game macro guide/directory.

4) Waking Sands should probably be (privately) instanced to better set the mood for certain events in the story.

5) Summoning Bell should be roped off or something to prevent people from standing directly on top of it.

6) I know people have asked for map-clickable teleports and that would be nice but just putting the region in parentheses in the current teleport list would be good enough for me (Central Thanalan, South Shroud, ect.).

Add vote/kick funtions in dungeons/dutyfinder.
Allow leader to reorganize names on list, can be helpful for the healer to have the tank at the top of bottom.
Provide a ready check.

Crazy one, implement a duty finder rep system where people can comment on certain people, so you know if they're just bad, or distracted ect. I imagine it a little more than good or bad, more like bad mechanics, abusive, helpful, good mechanics ect.

Things I would like to see :

- split buff and debuff bar. So both coud be moved while setting the UI

- A list of all macro commands and explanations like there was in beta forums :)

- A macro to mount/whistle/call a mount of your choosing

- A macro that allows to replace the current macro by another in the same slot:
Mainly to be able to cycle through marking using only one slot. Mark target 1 then gets replace with mark target 2 etc...
That would be nice if mounts could be in macro too, as you could cycle each time a different mount.

- Or a macro that allows you to set a range of value for marking. Each time you use it it increases the value until the maximum range.

- split targeting filters for NPCs/Objects to 3 filters NPCs , Objects, Pets

I would love to see a better way to organize crafting materials.

Perhaps remove all crafting materials from bags and have them instantly placed into a pre defined list that shows you how much of each material you have. Make it searchable and filterable by profession.

There is nothing worse then flipping through 9 retainer bags in search of 1 item to craft with, or worse buying a material you already have 10 of just had no way of knowing.

- Put Hydra and Chimera in duty finder.
- A keybind to quick open/close duty list

- Can we have SOLO Dungeons, please??

- Give PETS a "Animation" option. Just to do something funny like jump...

- Make GREEN Rarity Gear "Dyeable" please...

Since Gil spammers are still running amok... Please, PLEASE give us the option to press square and select "Add to blacklist" in the PS3 chatbox.

Right now the only way to blacklist spammers is to manually type their names using the PS3 keyboard, which is a hassle. Especially when they have names like "Gdhgd Dfrfgrs". Yes, that's a real name in my blacklist. And it took me about five minutes to get it right.

Please, add a quick blacklist option. Thank you.

This should apply to all smaller camps as well, mounts should be jumping all over inside camps, inside buildings.
It's rude to other players and NPC's.

I also would love to see this option!

A confirmation window when you try to sell/store something that is currently equipped or equipped by another job/class.
Currently you get a warning when you try to switch class that an item is missing, well it's kind of too late at that point.

Also a visual indication on items in your armoury that is currently used for a class/job, makes organization so much easier.

Can you make it ignore pets too? So many summoners and Arcanists at these FATE's we can't target the mobs, just pets and minions... it's bad, real bad.

I totally agree with the need for a color blind filter. My husband cannot see most of the areas marked in red; some quests and battles are a struggle to him, and I suppose there are many people who suffer the same.

-Ok, this just like wow, where someone link their item in chat, I can just click on the name and able to see the stats

Allow linking skill/craftable item table in chat
-Lvl 50 leather worker LFW, Click lether work to see what I can make for you. Another WoW like feature

I would like to see more of a variety of skills/traits and add some passive abilitys of all classes/jobs, you can make it so the only way to get some of these are through quests.

I really want to see is a starting class of dark knight then at level 30 and some other class at 15 change into a death knight, that deals black magic skills and ether war or mar skill lines.

How about having different mounts become companions instead of just the chocobo through some sort of quests.

Lastly i want to breed different colored chocobos/coeurls/unicorns or almost any mount, that can ether be a mount or companion that have different attacks and healing abilitys.

How about the ability to put ALL holiday gear in the chest in your Inn rooms?
These swim trunks are nice and all, but not having anyplace to put them is kind of lame.

OOOH, and maniqunis to dress up with our gear for our house!

Please add Retainer's bells to adventure guilds.

Please add the quest level next to the name of the quest when looking at the map.
When leveling multiple jobs it really makes it hard to keep up with what quest can be done in a zone. I run all over only to get to the quest giver and see the quest is to low or to high.



Also please make it so that the armory shows us ALL gear that is equipped by all our different classes gear sets.

Something simple like when you mouse over an item in the armory it can say "This item is currently equipped by Gear Set 3" or something like that.

When crafting please make it so that we can use mats held by our retainers (Banks) as well. This way we don't have to always summon our retainer get the item we need and continue crafting, it will automatically pull from our character AND retainer inventory.

The game RIFT (MMO) does this and its one of the greatest ideas ever.

I recommend adding a way to designate whether or not we /sit on the floor or on an object.

It's a bit frustrating when you find the perfect spot to sit for a photo only to be snatched over to a not-so-nearby chair or box. It's little, I know... but it really would be nice to have a little accuracy here ^^

Hi, here is my suggestions that I think would help in game.

Since the gill sellers are back (oh joy!:rolleyes:) I would like to be able to have a more enhanced blacklist that allows me to block phrases and anyone who uses those phrases. Since I have a feeling that those gill sellers would just delete those blacklisted characters and start a new one, phrase blocking would a least cut down on the visual 'traffic'/spamming. For example "/blistphrase www.cheapgill...." that would be blocked and a notification would pop up "block annoyinggillseller? yes or no"

I would also like the ability to set waypoints on my maps. This would come in real handy for escort missions.

Add an option to set usage of HQ mats as persistent until I select another recipe.

I often end up with stacks of HQ mats from my gathering trips. I have to set all HQ mats manually per combine. This doesn't seem like a big deal until you have to click 3X ~200 extra times when crafting intermediate mats like ingots/rivets/etc. After a day of gathering and clicking(!) it gets tedious.

Add a search box to a Crafting Log.

Ever accepted multiple Trade leves and can't remember the recipe level range? Or your current recipe requires a mat/item made before but you can't think on top of your head what level it was? Well, this happens to me a lot. Finding it would be so much faster with simple search function!
And while you at it, add it to gathering, fishing and hunting log too. It will save time when I look for particular crafting/supply mission mat. Or I could type in location and I'd know at glace if I need to kill something while I'm passing through an area.
