Show your Viera

Sooo I reinstalled the benchmark. :X Question - is it really buggy for anyone else? I can load it once, but if I try and load a 2nd time it just crashes constantly until I do a reboot. I've also learned that if I try and play XIV after using the benchmark, I get what appears to be a Japanese DX11 error and the game crashes. This has happened with both installs - not just this recent time :(

I really was quite pleasantly surprised just how much I enjoyed all the options the Viera have (at least for the Rava, haven't touched Veena). There's so many ways to make every face beautiful, and all of their hairstyles are good choices to the point where even in the (extremely) unlikely event they can't use other hairstyles what they have now is so nice I don't mind waiting a bit for other options to be implemented. I've seen very few "ugly" or boring Viera floating around the internet. Of course that's using boring in the sense that I personally enjoy the FFXIV races and don't mind their similarities and as a whole I don't find Viera's human-with-bunny-ears-ness to be boring, as some do (though I would have killed for classic Viera feet and bunny tails). Both these new races are fantastic additions, and hopefully their missing genders get added eventually.

I agree that 3 is truly a beauty. 3 and 4 are my favorites of the lot.

My favourites are face 1 and face 4. My favourite Veena is using face 1 and the ears that I initially liked the least, but that turned out to work really well with her hairstyle haha.

Like many other people in this thread I'm struggling to decide on a face as well. They're all so pretty. These are the ones I've been working on lately.

I think faces 2 and 3 are my favorite. But I can't decide if I'll fantasia to a Rava or a Veena.

If you want an opinion: This one is my favourite out of those four, she looks really unique and doe-like. She also looks very young, depends on whether you like that or not, and I like that haircolout best as well. What I personally also prefer is that she's wearing less make-up, I think the eyeliner on Viera quickly looks a bit too much.

Thank you! That one is my favorite so far and I'm probably going to go with that one for fantasia'ing. It's kind of basic but brown is one of my favorite colors so I like brown eyes and brown hair colors.

I think I'm still planning to use my bunny up above (I can't resist a good RBF), but I do love this face as well (she may have to be a later fantasia).

I'm personally a fan of the bottom one - I think the darkness adds a nice bit of contrast. But hey, at least that's an easy fix in-game if you ever want to swap between them :)

When you make a post there is an icon in the options above the text box that looks like a little picture of a tree. Click that and paste your url in the pop-up box.

Even the skin color was the same, it is just that the brown hair made her look darker while the black hair made her a touch lighter. For the numbered values (skin color, eye color, etc.), I started at the very top, left corner to begin.

By the Twelve, this People can be made so FIERCE-looking, yet, more charismatic than female Highlanders. Highlanders look angry (pissed off, really); Rava do "Righteous Wrath".

I think they're the first race I've seen, where the tribal face paint looks good!

After days of tinkering, questioning my choices, uploading my Viera here only to change her again, and admiring all of your Viera's.. I've finally decided on what she will look like on the 28th of June.
Only thing that might still change is her skin tone because I would prefer to walk around in the actual game to see how it exactly looks.

I bet data on all the saved Viera setups in the benchmark are sent back to SE so they are automatically getting a good bit of data on what features are most popular and what are least popular!
