No. She is busy in real life with school and work, but the biggest reason is because our Free Company is over half EU, and we are NA, so we are trying to determine the best time/date so that the largest amount possible from our FC can make it.

Willing to transfer? Sorry, would rather not.

Personal Interests: FFXIV (obviously!) anime (though I'm not HUGELY into it, I like a few series) Supernatural (far too invested in that show to be healthy!) drawing (badly) sewing (I occasionally make plushies!) RP!

Play schedule: It varies due to my work schedule being all over the place. I'm in the GMT timezone though, if that helps!

What kind of gamer are you: I guess I'd say casual? I'd like to do the stuff that's often described as "hardcore" but due to my work schedule I just can't devote the time to it :(

Character Gender: male

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? Not at all! And seeing as I'm a female playing a male character, answering yes to this would make me a massive hypocrite.

Character Race: Elezen (soon to be Au Ra

Preferred Race: Any! They're all awesome!

Main class?: I keep switching between Dragoon, Paladin and Bard. At the moment it's Dragoon. One of the many who's going Dark Knight.

Dislikes: Elitism, being a jerk, people leaving parties on the first wipe (unless for legitimate RL reasons,) Beans.

Goals for the game: Get Zodiac before Heavensward (currently on Alexandrite, don't think I'll make it D: ) RP more often than I do, and most of all, have fun!

Goals for the marriage union: The clothes, the chocobo, experiencing the ceremony itself... But also it would be pretty cool to expand my small circle of in game friends!

Etc: It's worth noting that I don't wanna marry until Heavensward. I want to do the ceremony as Au Ra!

Yeah. I was on an alt for about....I dunno....half an hour to an hour but then I got really bored and jumped back on my main when she was still on Excalibur for a little bit. Then I came back but then went AFK for dinner and when I came back from that I decided to just say screw it and transfer. XD

I can't promise I will be able to update it today since I might not log in today, but for sure tomorrow.

People from other servers should post for people that might be willing to transfer ^_^ need more servers represented :D

There were but we kind of stole them lol. LTEvil came to balmung. She's marrying iskander this weekend. Rhylgeim trasferred to balmung. She is in my FC and if u noticed talking here to miles and ryu in game. I'm engaged in game too. Clarie came from Shiva. Im gonna ask her to join my FC. Hopefully she ll join.

Or you (and everyone else willing to transfer) could just come to Balmung. That's where most of us have ended up. Especially because you seemed really nice since you helped me when I was on Excalibur.

Thanks ^_^ I just wish I could be more than one person sometimes because I can only marry one person on one server :P It makes it so people on other servers still don't guaranteed find someone :( Though, hopefully, some more people get inspired and chime in to help balance it out regardless. Personally though, I don't want to marry just for the items, I'd rather have a friend that I could play with. So I wouldn't transfer just to get someone the items ^_^; so maybe not as considerate as you would think. But I'd still be willing to transfer to other servers and spread it around to places other than Balmung so more people are interested :)

Yes that is true. At least I can say that some of us want to EB cuz that mean we ll have a friend and lvling partner. The items is something we can get out of the EB so it's a win-win

Honestly I would move but I still have some people keeping me here on my server. Though I will say me and said friend are getting paranoid our fc is dying, so I have been thinking about it.

I can understand some people have friends, families, FC, statics and so on, but the decision is always of the individual. I know that some of our guild members were from another servers. The did have friends already in Balmung, yet they left them, but now they came back because they prefer the atmosphere of this server. What I can recommend is to see if you can revive the FC by recruiting more people. If it dies try to find another one with your friend. If that doesn't help, then it's time to may be look for other servers.

I'm actually originally from another server myself ^_^ It's up to you what you do, just make sure you're having fun! I'm weird and can probably find fun on any server I transfer as long as I have someone to enjoy playing the game with, so that's why I can offer to transfer to any server practically :3

I no longer have a FC because I left and it was the only I joined since moving there about a year? ago.
I've been to Leviathan and people were super friendly. I started there in 2.0 and hope my old friends are doing good
but since a Snowman gave me a cookie and tea randomly when I was alone in Balmung that touched my heart, left, but
returned because the community and the rp's were nice and fun. That snowman sealed the deal for me lol. I still have the cookie and tea.
I also enjoy reading RP's and doing very very small -hugs; like RPing hehe.

So I've noticed, but as I've said earlier, I'm going to hold off from transferring there ^_^ You all sound like nice people, and it would be fun hanging out, but there are a lot of other servers and I would rather attempt to spread the word around by going to a different server, even if Balmung would be fun. I've seen at least one, maybe two, people that have brought up nobody from their server posting so they haven't posted their info. I would love to hear more about them and be able to help one of them at least if they're in it for more than just the items :D

I'm happy that you have a reason for enjoying Balmung and that you enjoy it there ^_^ While yes, Balmung is one of the more active servers on the forums, I know there are people out there from other servers that, like me, just lurk in most threads because of social anxiety. That's why I'm trying to be a bit more active in this thread and draw up a bit more interest myself ^_^; I really push my own extrovert "battery" doing this, because I'm really a huge introvert, but I just want people to be able to (hopefully) feel like they can participate if more people do and show interest in joining their servers instead of just feeling like it's "Go Balmung or hope that someone from your server eventually finds and posts here" you know? :( Not trying to be rude ^_^;

It's okay! I know you're not trying to be rude and I understand.
I think we just get a little excited and love to have more friends and stuff in the LS. I am very proud of Balmung so I tend to try to steal peoples lol.
Think we had 2 or 3 come here already, they're enjoying it. I do wish more people would come for other servers to meet up with them on their own.
I think because of the whole RP aspects, it's much easier
from people of Balmung to get the EB thing going...or people just aren't as interested in it. :) But I'm happy the couple of Sargantas [I think he said he had moved from another server for her?]
are taking things seriously. I wanna see more relationships grow like this to be honest or people being good friends.
Me and Quince are good friends now and I'm friends with Quince/Lina/Iskander/Miles/Claire/Dekal thanks to this thread. :)

It is always good to have someone to party or just chat when we log in. If it becomes more than friendship that is something just not that often to see, but possible. It is always a plus when your friend is a healer lmao. I can get DF in no time.!!!

See that's the problem. We originally thought they were leaving because we didn't raid much (Still kind of do.) So we started a raid ls, but that isn't going well either. And currently I'm the only one on now so its getting kind of frustrating, I don't want to leave because it was the first actual fc where I had a family, but it seems they're all either busy with life or leave of their own accord >.>

I live by a simple rule when it comes to MMOs: If you're not having fun, or the place you're at no longer feels like home, then move on and try to find a better place for you.

It's a game we all share, and it's something that you should be enjoying ^_^

If people are never on and your family has disappeared, you might consider finding a new home. Whether that's a new FC or a new server altogether. Do what's best for you, don't force yourself to be unhappy hoping that everything will come back. I'm doing that right now, so I'm a hypocrite saying this, but learn from my mistake.

Well I actually won the be on much tomorrow. I have things to do at 1pm, 3pm and 6pm. I just might be able to get on at 8pm or so but only for an hour to an hour and a half because I'll have to go to sleep early since I have work the next day and I'll have to get up at 6am.

I loved my first guild that is not from Balmung. I started the game in another server. I thought they would still be playing, but when I went to check (everyday for 30 mins) the guild no one. That is one of the reasons why I stay in Balmung. I went to other guilds too. I didn't see myself comfortable in those until the current guild I am. Sometimes there are things in life that will just make people stop coming back and that is what it looks what is happening in your guild. May be that is a sign that you need to move on. As I said in my previous post. If you can take your time and see what guild is suitable for you and if things doesn't work out, may be you should think about checking other servers.
