A question for YoshiP: from the time you took charge of the FFXIV project, were there times you thought that you made a mistake or a time where you felt that there was no way to save FFXIV? And now that FFXIV:ARR has reached its first birthday, how do you feel? Are you relieved or do you feel more pressure to make sure the game continues to grow?

A question for the FFXIV team: have you taken time off yo enjoy a vacation yet, or are you being worked to the bone?

Could we get an option to hide our accessories or perhaps some invisible glamour?

Since the start of 2.0; we've been able to get all of Odin's gear except for one item. His shield. Will you be implementing Odin's shield for those of us who want to complete the look?
It could cost 5 Mantles from the vendor or it could be crafted by Armorsmith's with mantles.

with ninja coming out and practically everyone wanting to play this new job, will there be any kind of incentive for a tank and healer to que up? Most people who enjoy tanking/healing already have them at 50's and will understandably want to play ninja. the rest of the populace enjoy the damage dealer and will do everything to stay away from healing or tanking. idea: perhaps adjust the tank mounts so instead of 200 8man current content its say 400 or 500 any lvl 50 content including dungeons?

When will we be able to disable or adjust the size and placement of mid-screen pop-up notifications?

The large glowing "FATE JOINED, FATE COMPLETE, LIGHT PARTY, FULL PARTY, QUEST ACCEPTED, QUEST COMPLETE" notifications and their corresponding music clips block my view of my surroundings and interrupt the zones music.

Will you consider increasing the amount of items we can send via Moogle Mail? As it is right now, 5 isn't enough slots to send crafted gear to friends for their leves.

Will we see another world Boss like what Behemoth and Odin are; and will there be further rewards for defeating Behemoth and Odin within the next few patches?

It is really frustrating when you go into a duty and you have certain players that do not have the gumption to try and complete a duty QUIT in the middle of it; then you wait for another player to fill the spot and waste more duty time. Will there be a way that we can access our friend list and send an invitation to our friends that states " Player 1 needs a DPS/Tank/Healer for "Copperbell Mines" would you like to join?"

Will you change the Atma Fragments to end up in your "key item" inventory space vs. the players regular inventory space.

Will you consider adding new Companions for us to use when soloing? Like certain members of Scions of the Seventh Dawn?

Is there a way to fix Benediction execute timer? Currently Benediction, while an "insta-cast" ability has an animation before the ability goes off. More often than not the person dies because it didn't go off due to animation not completing in time, but now it's cool down and you can't use it on anyone else to try and save the fight.
The split second delay is enough to cause a wipe if it is the tank you're trying to save.

1. what will ninja's primary stat be?

2. what can we expect the most expensive personal houses to cost when personal housing is released?

3. when can we expect to see the existing classes to get a second job branch like arcanist? like dps version for marauder and gladiator, and maybe a tank version for lancer or something of the sort?

4. when is your current goal to release the expansion with new classes/jobs and story line?

5. is there any chance to see gear with actual ability buffs with some horizontal progression, rather than this complete vertical progression that continually forces people just to grind for the next best piece?

paladins hallowed ground as well, i have used it a few times and died before it took effect, causing me to die and putting it on cool-down, so same question, is there plans to fix it making them real instacast, or at least not putting them on cooldown if the effect has not been applied

I wouldn't expect this one to happen. I personally like it as is since when I get an Atma drop (rarely) I can drop it into my retainers inventory to hold onto so I can keep going.

1. with Ixal being added, and all their BTQ's being crafting related, will the other tribes see crafting related quests in the future?

2. Same about the Delivery quests?

3. With regards to players rejected from an FC, what happens to their furnishings and chocobo after the 35 (Earth Day) is expired? Will the FC get a shot at getting the furnishings? I expect the Chocobo to "return to the wild" but could also add some interesting aspects to an FC for chocobo only hunts in the future.

4. Skywatcher addition, please provide more information about this new NPC.

5. I like what I read about the daily hunts and the Rank B Hunts. Any plans for the A and S Rank hunts besides the allied seals up?

Since the Rank B hunts have been changed so a solo player can handle them, but the allied seals have been upped to 50, did the Dev Team consider posting 2 Elite Hunts at all? I would think a Rank B every week, but have it at 20 Allied Seals plus a Rank A or S at 50 Seals? Thoughts.

It's takes a very long time to gather shards and I know people have touched on this but it's critical that something be done.

-Will you make it possible to break clusters into crystals. Crystals into shards akin to FFXI, FFXIV v1.0?
-Can you make it possible that gathering will yield more shards than they currently do?
-Is it possible to have tradecraft leves always yield shard, crystals, cluster (depending on level) when completed?
-Make it possible that Elementals will always drop atleast 1 shard, crystal, cluster (depending on level) akin to FFXI
-Can you make it possible to grow Shards/Crystals/Clusters akin to FFXI

Concerning Gold Saucer, can you please put a battle system like the one found in FFVII [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy-3A6iBNqo]

Is it possible to add an in-game voice chat during raids/dungeons/primals mainly? Because it is pretty hard to explain things or call them out with text, especially in pugs or if the person is new to the fight. Most of the time people ignore text or can't take the time to read it while the fight is happening.

When we'll see the 'AF2' presented time ago in an old Live Letter? 2.4 maybe?

Can you add some more 'nature random events' (thare are only rainbows for now) like shooting stars, auroras, tornados, etc.?

We will see a Uematsu return in 3.0 with some tracks?

To add to Granamir's question: I am very pleased that we have been able to hear some music from the previous version of the game in recent patches (Mog Post quests and very brief moments in Ixal dailies), will these now "lost" tracks make a more "permanent" return somehow ? I really miss On Windy Meadows, Twilight Over Thanalan, Born of the Boughs, the Twin Faces of Fate,...

Also, when new open zones are released, will there be a new battle theme ? I'm not a fan of the current one (sorry, Mr. composer !).

What's your opinion on players buying carries though EX/Coil content and would you consider adding new high level Guildhests that focus on the key mechanics so that players who want to instead learn and accomplish them on their own merits can be better prepared to do so?

Since Guildhests are presumably there to help acquaint new player with boss fight mechanics, how about adding some high level ones that prepare people better for mechanics in the EX Primals? I really enjoy primal fights, but I'm gated. The ones in party finder are all 'Know how to one-shot this or get kicked' and I can't join those because it would be disingenuous and give me a rep as a player who isn't capable based on performance at something that with practice I will be capable at. And I can relate to not wanting to waste time wiping repeatedly on content I have cultivated my ability to farm. Yes I've organized learning groups, but even before the update that gave us Hunts Hunts Hunts, and Levi/Moogle EX without a clear through the first three extremes, it was surprisingly hard to get a full learning group formed. Even started a LS so we can add an element of progression to learning groups vs. so people can focus on what phase to learn and based on their progress so they're not starting over with first-timers and wiping at the mechanics they already know, and to weed out people who join a learning group PF that's been up for 45 min just to leave after 3 min and send everyone back to PF or it just busts up. But it's not really working... right now EX Primals isn't a big priority for a lot of people and that's fine, but I know there are others willing, able and eager to learn this content without a good way to do so.

I'm not asking for a version of the EX Primals that's watered-down version for training mode, I guess the HM Primals do that to an extent, but it's the mechanics involved that distinguish the EX Primals and even with a boss with a different name/appearance as the Primals they could teach the mechanics related to the EX fights. I'll use how this could be done to correspond with Garuda EX as a simple example since I know and can clear the fight. So with Spiny Plume, how many times have ppl said 'don't kill spiny, here's why', and after 40 min of wipes because of newer tanks having issues taking the sisters to the right place or healers standing next to pillars getting them collateral damage you finally get that far, and you hear a DRG spamming Circle of Thorn or you get Wide Volley or whatever, boom it's dead and you've wasted more time. So what about a Guildhest that unlocks at the same time as Garuda EX where the DPS's have to avoid killing one of a group of small adds in a similar manner, and where the tanks (if designed as 8-person) have to swap enmity and positions key adds a specific way, but which could be completed pretty easily but only if mechanics are observed (players take big damage where it would have been an OSK in EX, enemy cast bars are slower, etc). Incentivize running these for the players who have unlocked them like with trial roulette (don't mix in with all the other guildhests experienced players won't find fun), add a rare minion drop, etc.

These could be added over time with new patches, AFTER the EX is first introduced. Like maybe 3 months or so after the EX Primal itself comes out. And one based on T5? Badly needed.

tl;dr- Can you please leverage the underlying programming that supports Guildhests to give us new ones that relate to EX/Coil so that those of us who want to engage in challenging end game content have a way to learn them without spending countless hours trying to link up with those who want to learn with you or teach you or who want to sell you a carry?

Could we get some sort of Eorzea calendar in game to make it easier to see what moon phase we are in for hunts and the time of year etc for the people that want to know when their character's birthday hits etc?

Can the Summoner be made into a pet management job and give dot management to Red Mage where it should be?
Can the Summoner be nerfed and given Hyur sized Primals as pets with Hard Mode Primal abilities?
Can the Red Mage be given en spells and take the place of the current Summoner as the dot management job.

Just wondering how to set up a subscription. I live in japan but the mog station will not except American credit cards. I am running the American version of final fantasy. Will the Japanese game time cards work?

The new Weekly Mark bills are very quick and easy. Will there be more involvement with B-ranks in the future? Many of them seem to go unused throughout the week.

Are there any plans to implement a class/job like a hunter or beast master?
Would you be able to have more permanent pets unlike how beast master was in FFXI so you could tame, name, or stable them?

Also, seeing as how it is getting later in the game and many players are not interested in leveling so much anymore their has been a drop in interest for fate groups.

Like in later FFXI the addition of Field manuals and Tomes where you gain exp though killing so many of a set type of mob and gain more exp and buffs for completing the task.
Would there be any consideration of adding something similar?

When will we finally get to see open world primals come to the game?

Will we ever see classes and jobs that are unque to eorzea? I get that people want to see old classes to return but it does not hurt to make branr spankingg new ones

Will there ever be customizable guild tabards?

When will we finally be able to go to ala migho and ishgard?

When will we see Ishgard & Ala Mhigo?

When will Marriage Quest/Event come?

When will we see the v1.xx Mor Dhona & Coerthas NMs Uraeus & Dodore return? Most/all the v1.xx NMs are FATE bosses now...

If introduced, will you make it so RDM isn't as half-assed as it was in XI? Give it something like the PLD Oaths so it can swap between Melee & Magic DPS and just give it's cures PLD strength? Maybe make the RDM "Oaths" where they can't be used in combat?

When will you be allowed to discuss the expansion pack?

Will ninjas be str or dex based? I know they are melee, making str an obvious choice(since my current main is mnk, I hope this is the case because I eventually want to make min my main), but there's speculation about them being dex based as well. Also, if they are str based, will they share mnk gear or get their own gear?
