How updated would you say this guide is? I'm starting a SCH for raiding in 3.1 and this guide looks great just want to know if i'd be good to follow.
What abilities should I have in my hot bars? It just feels like I don't have enough room for everything I need, and I probably have things in there that I don't need. Just a list of everything I should have would be very helpful.
Everything. Not even joking. You'd want to make use of your full kit. This does result in a lot of buttons to press, though.
You can open up more hotbars* and set them up anyway you like through keybinds**. Through this you can set up hotbar 3 with shift+number, ctrl+number or alt+number or any other combination/key you like. Find a particular system that seems logical to you when you set these up. If you happen to have a gaming mouse, this makes it easier to access keys that are normally too far to reach with your left hand while moving (6-0). Some players have set particular move sets on Q and E. You could put sprint on Q, for example. It's an ability every job has and it's easy to reach. Or put all your trigger finger abilities on E: Lustrate, Tetragrammaton, stunning/silencing abilities etc.

Thank you for the guide. The macro section inspired me to work on my mine and loved fiddling with them to tweak to my preference.
My biggest favorite is having:
/micon Adloquium
/pac Embrace <f>
/pac Embrace <t>
/ac Bio II <t>
/ac Adloquium
It has helped saving countless of people from devastation while I cured them as the fairy focussed on the main tank. And combining a DoT in there has helped saving space on the hotbars :)
