First, I would have to ask.... what's the point of a 1,000 character limit per post when you can easily post something <1000 characters and then proceed to edit as many characters in as you want, easily breaking the 1,000 character limit?
What's the point of the limit in the first place, when it is so easily gotten around, and it isn't even a punishable offense (because everybody does it)?
And second of all, the daily post limit is ridiculous. How is a person supposed to actually be an active member in an online community when they are only able to post about 10-20 posts per day? I could understand such a limit being in place for, say, <Lv30 characters but I'm almost at the end of Stormblood, my account is in good standing, and I've never spammed the forums, or broken any of its rules that I know of.
Why are such punishing restrictions placed on me? Why not punish the people who actually do stuff wrong and let your normal rule-following people alone?

I love interacting with the forums community. There's a lot of fun to be had here; that said, it remains one of the only forums I've seen that has such an easily bypassable 1,000 character limit, to the point where it might as well be removed, and the 20 posts per day limit. I'm spending one of my valuable 20 posts of the day to say once again: please remove these restrictions.
