Why jot down January 7th?

Maybe SE can design the beta signup page to let you choose both platforms if you want to test both.

I would sign up for that, my high-end desktop computer and MacBook Pro can play it fine. I'll definitely test it on my PS3.

I doubt it since it wouldn't be fair to the player that didn't get into to the beta until open beta if another guys gets into both the ps3 and pc beta... Also it would be a waste since you can't play on both systems at the same time unless you have multiple service accounts...

I see your point, though SE could pick all the people who chose only PS3 first and/or didn't get selected for PC if that fits their testing goals. They already said they would give priority to the PS3 FF13 beta key holders.

Tomorrow we'll find out exactly why we need to jot down Jan 7th. Thankfully this thread and others helped everyone remember lol.

Well it's 7:39 JST so maybe in about 5 hours...

It's still 2:42 PM on 1/6/2012 (PST). We'll probably need to wait a few more hours.

Just rechecked the lodestone to make sure the japanese date is the 7th and it is... since there is a 15 hour difference between JST and PST it wouldn't be so far to say that PST could receive it on the 6th...

It's almost 9am here in Brisbane, Aussieland, and I think Japan is about 2 hours behind me so Yoshi&co have probably already left for the office already at almost 7am their time.

I'll laugh if the thing to jot down today for is another blog post with pictures of the office or a sleepy Yoshi-P ;P Actually, a sleepy bed-head Yoshi-P from first thing on a Monday morning might be kinda cute :3 Like a red snurble XD

Hopefully today we get something game related though, like the benchmark or something ^_^

probably because the beta application site goes online and we get to see the opening trailer.
