In Dreams is one of the best quests in terms of story in an MMO I've ever seen.

Please draw something better than this then get back to me.

You can say you don't like WoW's art style if you like, but you can't say a five year old could do better. They have some of the best artist in the gaming industry doing their artwork and designs.

Find me a 5-year old who can model this.
And well done cinematics using the in-game character models.

And lets not forget something good looking like this is from a engine that dates back to 2004.
The in game work Really doesn't do the picture justice if you are comparing to similar media in the gaming industry.
I have enough bad games that are enjoyable to me. WoW is not one of them. WoW is forgettable to me. Whatever polish and shine you may claim it has did not impress me any more than Rappelz or Bloodymare, and I played those games more
I don't need to like World of Warcraft, and who really recognizes the hard work and long hours of every game they play? I'm sure grown men were working on All Points Bulletin, that doesn't make it worth my time.
5 years /sarcasm
I played it for a few days on a free trial. It did not appeal to me, nor did it show me anything other free to play mmos I was playing did not have.
If the endgame was so damned important they should have started me off with a level 80 orc and be done with it.
*Translators note: I knew I was going to hate it before I played it, and proved my theory correct.
According to your Lodestone history, you made your character on September 23, 2010...which was launch day. Saying that World of Warcraft has no polish is absurd, especially since you only gave the game a chance on the free 10-day trial. Final Fantasy XIV was terrible at launch, yet you were totally fine playing that. You can't talk about games with no polish when you were fine playing XIV for months.
Just say "I don't want to like World of Warcraft because it's not Final Fantasy." It would at least make you sound like you know what you're talking about.
It definitely isn't bad looking when you acknowledge it is a game from 2004, and it still looks great alongside other MMO's. WoW offers an immerse world with a great atmosphere that games like RIFT, AION, and TERA can't really pull off. I am not saying that they are bad games, good in fact, but all three of those games feel incredible generic to me and offer no substance to their world.
Actually, probably wise to not derail too much before a GM blocks this topic off. Or do derail it more, this conversation is getting more pointless each post.
