How pysched are you about ARR?

i used to be very excited about FFXIV like you...but then i took an arrow to the knee

I'm actually really excited about 2.0, I have nothing negative to say, no "maybe" or "meh" or "50/50".. just plain excited.

However, on the whole? I think this is a very depressing time for FFXIV players, and gauging public opinion on how "excited" they are about it will never come across in true colors at this point. With 1.0 winding down to a close, no matter how many challenges people have been through with 1.0, and whether or not people admit it or not: this is a sad time to watch it creep closer and closer to server-down/last-character-save. I think mixed feelings are going to be the norm as a result, but that more excitement will come back once the game has been down for a little while.

So I'm curious to see if other people are psyched about ARR. How impressed are you by the last 2 months? Is the info sufficient to make your mouth water? Do you honestly believe that ARR will be the best MMO out there?

What people feel about ARR will always be different.

Opinion based threads aren't always correct.

Positive threads always fire me up, where others should be left out in the cold.

Really hope the day before the end they have the meteor encompassing the whole sky and we get an awkward red twilight. Perhaps have the meteor coming in at real time (can watch it get closer). Then we can count down while squeezing Louisoix hand to save us.

The topic's open to all levels of hype. From the frothing at the mouth 'Square can do no wrong, why can't I marry Yoshi-p' obsessive maniac to the 'this game is going to be an enormous failure, the light of the sun is toxic' psycho.

I'm so f'ing psyched.

My psyched meter has plummeted to almost nothing at this point. I cant get psyched about things i don't know about and the longer it goes without major updates of info the lower it gets. Soon i will start looking for another hobby if this doesn't start getting me excited. I have learned to not over-hype things myself, you set yourself up for major disappointments.
