I don't think they missed the deadline. The EN Lodestone post saying that it was closed came in like 24 hours early. And in French. And doesn't do anything when you click on it.

Seems liked timed-post-fuck-uppery to me.

I'm working under the assumption that we will have multiple jobs per class-- and yeah, I really love the Corsair/Gambler job - but I think RDM gets priority billing due to it being more of a classic FF staple~



BTW, I'm very happy with my ring entry, but I'm nervous about this whole typo with the contest cutoff time.

I'll post it once I get a solid answer or Midnight PDT... whichever comes first.

HINT: My ring's first ability is useless in the current game ;)

I'm a little nervous about the fact that my ring isn't very original; several other contestants and I are thinking along very similar lines. I'm just hoping that I got the right balance of style, theme, and application balance. We'll see. I'll be posting in a few hours.

I do have one thing that not a lot of people went for, though - a design and make-up full of symbolic and meaningful contents - and a METRIC F%$K-TONZE (c wat i did thar?) of lore behind it.

I'm not much of an artist. So while I thought about how to crudely draw a ring surface that represented the idea of infinite regression I realized I had something on hand that already looked like that. So here's my real life design made of lab-grown, naturally-shaped bismuth:
