Actually really liked how the lightning worked on dark skinned fem hro.
Will check my drow-skin Viera/Roe later, but really happy with this one:

this feels very concerning, the washing out of darker skin tones, the ashy/grey base, etc. this is a throughline through every dark tone for female hrothgal, for both the lost and hellion, and this doesn't even touch on the fact that they literally do not match the color picker whic shows these very lush, vibrant and warm colors.
Try turning the benchmark gamma down (it's at like 50 by default), but I've seen other screenshots that have me concerned about the darker tones. Seen too much grey hair that was supposed to be black...
I also wanted to come back to this thread with the benchmark officially out--the first thing I did was actually make a dark-skinned/furred fem!Hroth to see how she'd look. I do still think there are issues with how washed out skintones are looking, but hopefully that will change if I fiddle with the gamma correction. But we'll see.

Glad that we got this decently far enough in advance that we can look at all of this properly!
As I feared, dark skin on femra looks awful :') It's washed out, and if anything my wol is lighter than she used to be - which was exactly what I feared. There's no undertone, she looks lifeless...just why? Also, they clearly didn't test it because there's light artifacts around the scales. It's just...bad. Even messing with the gamma doesn't work. I'm just extremely disappointed.

How are feeling about the new Benchmark?
I think I'm personally good with it, my boy looks fine in CC though i might change his eye shape since now they're kinda very sleepy looking, but that's not what this thread is about lol.
I feel like some of the shadows "in game" (in the Benchmark cutscene) still look a bit washed out to me and I have to yet look at him in the darker light setting the Benchmark provides now
