I spent a solid three years doing Dynamis twice a week and saw three rdm hats drop. All for which I was out bid. Pup gear however, well they rained like dollar bills at a bachelor party.

Just a matter of what gear your after and the mood of the RNG.

Yeah and sadly these days it's near impossible to walk out of Dynamis without a full inventory of AF2 lol. (Including Duelist Chapeaus..so much so you'll be tossing them like crazy.)

when i went in with my rdm, i for the drop from every area the 1st time i went in.....i was special lol (i had the full warrior set too 1st try), my whm took the longest, id say maybe 3 trys per area. blm i got it in 2-3 trys per area too.

games evolve, equiptment becomes outdated and this is what happens because of it, but back then, they were prizes to be coveted

yes even then they were


alot of people just wanted to have the set regardless of how good or bad individual peices were

The RNG hands were just... bad, and yes I know people collected the AF2, having done so myself.

Yep -- Before jump specific gear (and gear in general) was released Wyrm Greaves were a good Jump Macro piece.

Regardless of that, they completely went all out on some pieces and some sets, and on others they just completely bombed.

Yeah, it was sometime after CoP iirc, since the NM that drops it is on Puro Island -- Either that or we had no idea how to get it for awhile (you know how SE was with not even throwing out hints of where to get new items like this lol.)
