What the hell do you mean you "prove your expectations"? What kind of statement is that? And as I said before, Yoshida's efforts have not maintained the playerbase, much less garnered any new blood to speak of. That is a fact and that is my point.

Proven expectations != wishful thinking
First off, I appreciate that you troll this thread, that makes this discussion popular, making SE not overlook at it so keep the good work.
Second I don't know if its you, your arrogance or that you cant see fatter than the tip of your nose and in fact respect another people opinions and share your opinion as well than try to push your ideal of the game and what you think is right and whats not to others....
What a childish remark. I'm not 'crying' about anything. I'm debating things about this game that I'd like to see changed so that I might enjoy it again should I return. I might go as far to say as I speak for many of those who have left for the same reasons I have.
allow me to help you out here, as you obviously didnt read what i posted, i did not compare FFXI or FFXIV to WoW in any way shape or form, i have never played WoW, nor do i intend to, you proved nothing except you are the exact type of person im talking about, the type that hates on casual players of FFXI(or any game), and thinks because its enjoyable to you, endgame content is the only thing people want.
Nor did i say, Murugan, that i wanted them to stop working on endgame, all im saying is endgame content wont bring new players, it will only appease the players already playing, and thats not the goal here, they are remaking this game to bring in new customers, with the secondary goal to give everyone an enjoyable playing experience.
allow me to remind everyone how the player counts looked serverwide on FFXI over the years, i remember close to 5k+ per server, within a few years it was 4k+, another few years 3k+ and so on, when abyssea hit, it was down around 1500 during peek hours, i even was forced transfered twice because population fell to around 600 on both servers i was on before that.
Abyssea DID bring back a lot of players, the game became easier yes, but thats where the money is, and dont kid yourself, they are here to make money, not give crybabys more endgame because "wah..i already did everything waaah waah"
Since you think only the highest levels should be allowed to enjoy and play FFXIV, be sure to tell all your in-game friends that when the last 100 of you are on the final server remaining after merges. You are the best, you stayed the longest and are therefore the most loyal, because you were the one to get all the weapons and armor for all the classes, finished all the achivements, got the best materia, and the most gold, or perhaps your just the idiot that told SE they dont need content unless its endgame content, so you are directly responsible for its failure.
I sure hope you werent one of the alpha/beta testers that was telling the first team how to design this game in the first place.
You're throwing you entitlement tantrum just like every other 'goodbye' thread and what seems like 90% of posts on this forum.
What a childish remark? What an elite state of mind. "I don't play/pay for this game, yet must dictate how it's producer does it's job. I am the 1%"
GTFO.
On the contrary, I am entitled to speak about this game because I did play it faithfully for over a year and still hold a valid opinion about it. I'll stick around up until the very last day I'm allowed on these boards with my 30-day long goodbye thread. Get used to it.
