Summoner and the upcoming changes

Well, we can't use aether flow anymore when the 3 stacks have been used up before entering bahamut transe, we have to do it after the transe now :\ otherwise the 3 stack are not earned.
They should have greyed out the icon to prevent player to hit the button and end up losing 3 stacks :s.

I wonder how buffing ruin to 100 potency (and the tri-disaster change) will balance the loss of dps from shadow flare, one less dot and the nerf of ruin 3. (i mean at lvl 60)

You should probably kill the monster instead of casting pointless Physics.
If a monster is able to eat all the HP of Titan and you before you can kill it, then you're doing something really, really wrong.

I would second your answer in general but me f.e was used to overmob fate monsters while fighting them with aoe skills for speed or i was used to solo kill a bossfate with only Titan by my side both scenarios appear way more difficult without pet regen and low physic... people are forced to rethink their tactics whats bad but not unsolvable .__.

I'd take Physick off my bar if it wasn't a gimme action. That little 500-600-point heal, on balance, is the next thing to useless when Titan-egi has 29K+ health :)

I too subjectively feel (haven't timed it) Trance comes up more often and something about the addition of the Aether gauge has made me more aggressive in using all my Aetherflow-consuming techniques.

It feels weird not hitting Bio, BioII, Miasma any more. Third-button phantom limb syndrome :)

This is all open-world based; FATES, Hunts, and trash mobs. I haven't been able to get into any Stormblood instanced content and haven't tried going back into older Dungeon content, yet.

We need Sustain back. On a side note, we can now use Erase to heal pets. It is INT based, but it is on a 90sec recast so it is still useless.

On another note, they turned summoner into even more of a god in pvp lol

I think the biggest change was adjusting to having only the two dots. It has shortened everything up on my cast bar which now I have to learn new muscle memory for everything as I am trying to cast that third dot that isn't there still or hitting 4 which use to be my Ruin cast button which is now empty as ruin has moved to button 3. It over all feels very simplified. I will have to see what it is like at 70 to see if it flows better as right now it has taken some adjustment. As for the pets, I have no idea why to even keep titan (my case it is Topaz Carbuncle due to glamour) out any more. He takes way too much damage and can't keep him up even with help from my Chocobo who has healing spells. It isn't just the lack of Sustain that is the issue either. He is just not able to tank any more and takes too much damage.

They need to up Titans defensive capabilities and they need to add something back either it be Sustain or a secondary effect to Physick that when used on a pet it does more healing or healing over time.

Physick as a whole is also useless on a Summoner as it scales off Mind and not INT. As such it heals for very little. It makes me question why we even have it if it wasn't for the fact I know we got it from our base class of ACN.

Am I the only one upset about losing Miasma II?

I mean, it wasn't the BEST skill, but it was still an AoE that put a DoT on everyone. I'm not sure why they removed Miasma II but kept Tri-Bind...when Tri-Bind was never used in PvE - at all. But Miasma II was ACTUALLY used in PvE.

I find myself having an insane amount of down time for trash pulls...no Miasma II to use, No Blizz II to use...Tri-Bind is an AoE but has pathetic damage.

Yeah I also was used to throw it on every trash mob as well - and not important but I kinda liked the animation .__.
