Well technically Sussano appeared in Mobius as a card, Final Fantasy Legendas enemies and Braverly Default as a summon (It's FF in everything but name) I know him from Mobius but had to look on the wiki for the others

I guess they just took the - O off for XIV.

I'm sure they are saving a bit more info like the battle system and such for the live letter. Revealing to much now, there wouldn't be much to say during the free Live Letter, so let's hope more is shown there.

Pretty depressed there is no healer or tank. Two things:

1.) 500k per quick queue.
2.) Next expansion better not have a new dps job.

I don't care if I sound salty, I have every right to be lol.

Was oping we'll might get a confirmation (or the opposite) regarding an upgrade of character creation with the PS3 dropping :/

First I am going to say: I had a ticket for the fanfest but thanks to sickness and wrong booking I did not go. Yet I am now kinda not feeling that bad for not going there. (Other than my lost 150 €..)

Well since they keynote is I will try to write down my opinions on it:

Positives:
- The new cities do look nice
- theme music also was great
- its nice that we get more than one country
- Samurai looks cool too
- the housing zone itself looked beautiful and we will finally get the movement that they promised for a long time

Negatives:
- only two new jobs even after not getting a new race
- no information about customization and not even a detailed information about the increase of inventory
- lots of recaps for such a short keynote
- housing is still not instanced thus it changes nothing about the real problem
- the landscapes other than the cities dont look that exiting but maybe that will change

What I am not really sure about:
- the WoL having to liberate not only one but two cities/states. I fear that if we dont get much more quests than HW this might turn into another Uldah situation..and going forth and back between two countries to save them might feel odd. Also it just kinda feels like a repeat of Ishgard..with freeing the city, but this time its double the amount and instead of dragons its humans
- the situation in Doma with the big city sounds a lot like Ishgard too. I mean how often will they play the "dont want strangers in their city" card?
- barely any new informations about Ala Mhigo. Either they want to keep it fresh or it might not even play that much of a big part in the expansion

I know this will sound really negative for a lot of people but I just cant feel really hyped for the expansion. I mean new countries are nice and I am happy that the big city looks really cool but how many people are truly in those after finishing the quests there? In the end it was really telling that even the crowd was not that exiting too.

Edit: Oh and it was nice paying over 30€ for a stream that starts to stutter quite often..I missed half of the trailer thanks to that and also the introduction video of the samurai. >_>

It might be that they aren't going into it yet because they still have several months of development ahead of them where they can still change things. They wouldn't want to say something that they end up changing.

I don't think we found out anything about the skill/combat in HW till only two months before HW launched.

I was thinking the same thing. Their faces showed a lot of disappointment. Lol I felt a little bad for Yoshi.

Figured we wouldn't get a healer or a tank this time around. My logic being this:

1) Paladin is "useless;"
2) White Mage is "useless."

Considering how FFXIV is all about balance to try and make no one class truly that much stronger than the other, it would be questionable to add a fourth to these roles. Unfortunately, it wasn't ultimately SE's fault, but rather the majority of players unwilling to take the others, despite the utility (AST pre- second-time- buffs, despite being already on par with WHM and SCH; 3.4 just make them superior and took that much for players to take them. PLDs have some of the strongest utility, allowing for breaks for healers to contribute more. However, while this logic works for ninja, it apparently backfires for PLD- probably because it doesn't directly raise group DPS like trick attack).

Makes me wonder if the house movement system goes with [same size <-> same size], or if we can pay extra and unlock larger house in the other end (if available).
