You mean when people re-sub everything else will be obsolete bar the newest tomes / 2 dungeons they released?

You do realize this happens don't you. Old content is worthless to do because of the vertical progression.

Dev team entitled to a break for goodness sake..... I'm happy to wait. It gives me a chance to gear rest of my crafting classes

I don't think people are saying the devs don't deserve some time off, just how it was handled. Completely stopping production is not good. At the very least keep a skeleton crew on hand.

I do realize, but what else do you expect from the vertical progression? Doesn't matter though, when you come back, you can just do PF for the content that went obsolete. Or if you want to do the 24 man raid, just come back earlier than 4.0, maybe around 3.5? That way the contents won't be THAT obsolete.

What's the point of coming in here and say I will un-sub and will re-sub because you felt frustrate about it? If you want to do it, just do so, what is the need to post on the board to let people know about it? This is what I am wondering about some people.

Well I expected it to be in november.
Also if it means we are getting more original and various content (exploration, verminion) then.. bring it on SE!

And did we, or did we not, receive 3.05 and 3.07? You seriously expect a skeleton crew to be able to keep up with the workload to make sure they meet the 'deadline' of 3 months when the majority of the crew took leave?

I joined this game late back in March, when 2.5 was out. By that time a lot of stuff was "obsolete" but you know what? I did it anyway. Every primal, all the towers,, all of coil,, every 50 dungeon. Because it was fun and new to me.

Not everyone is some BiS sheep only looking for the best gear and that's it. Some people (gasp) play the game to have fun.

People who are butthurt about the fact that staff took vacation after releasing HW, can unsubscribe. They will be back when 3.1 comes out. I surely can find ways to entertain myself until then, and I'm happy to know that staff got the vacation they deserved.
