Regarding the lack of interracial couples, weren't the Lalafels in the Ul'dah portion different races? I could have sworn one was a dunefolk and one was a plainsfolk...
Regarding inter-species couples, my understanding is that, lore-wise, it was extremely taboo in Eorzea. Moedryn (or however you spell her name) isn't from Eorzea, right? So, her pursuit of Urianger makes sense - he's incredibly uncomfortable about it, and she doesn't see a problem with it, since they're coming from different cultures. Or do I have that mixed up? Regardless, inter-species "couples" are extremely taboo in the real world too, for obvious reasons.

There is some excellent feedback about the event at the beginning of this thread, and I will make sure to bring that to the Community team's attention so they can provide that feedback to the developers. However, the thread has become something quite off topic, which has involved violations of the forum policies like inappropriate language, insults, and negative accusations against other people participating in the thread.
